Boateng to Bayern

For what it's worth he was at the fight tonight in hamburg, saw him behind Boris Becker during his interview.

The club is also pursuing the signatures of Jerome Boateng from Manchester City and Arturo Vidal from Bayer Leverkusen before the transfer window slams shut on 31 August. “It's well known that we are still active in the market," Rummenigge confirmed. However, Nerlinger said, FCB is renowned for “sound business practices, and that won't change. We'll never play along with demands for astronomical sums."

“There will be no change in our policy. We'll only do anything if we find a solution with the two clubs," added Rummenigge. Should a deal prove elusive, “we'll do something about central defence in any case," the chairman stated.

Rummenigge on transfer fee demands: "We are not Manchester City where you can just come to the barn and milk us."

Boateng has completed one year out of a 4 year contract. If Bayern don't want to pay the saking price then they and Boateng will just have to lump it. We hold all the cards and i'm delighted we are not being a soft touch over this one.

Mooooooooooooooooo! Das ist gut ya?!?!

Boateng: "On Tuesday I will meet with representatives from ManCity again. Then we will talk. But I have already made myself clear enough. I want to join Bayern as soon as possible. I don't know if they will increase their offer, I hope the two clubs can reach an agreement."
