Haven't read the whole thread but I thought it was bizarre we signed this lad as a right back when he clearly isn't one, and has publically stated so.
I'd be delighted if we got rid of him to be honest and recoup some of the cash wasted. Boyata's a better centre half prospect and doesnt need players like Boateng in his way.

He really didn't do too badly getting Germany all the way through to the semis and looking pretty good in the third place play off. Looked a bit weaker against Spain maybe but so did a lot of other players.

In the one or two matches he played at in the middle beside Kompany he looked a lot better, great young prospect we will miss, can see him becoming a starter for both Bayern and Germany.
