Bobby ain't happy! (The Mail.....)

Just to be clear mate, I have no clue whether Marwood is or isn't good at his job and nobody cares whether I rate him or not anyway. However, we have finally appointed a world class manager who has won trophies and is hungry for more. If Marwood is indeed doing ADUGs bidding, and Mancini's attempts to strengthen the team/squad are being frustrated with their blessing, then we are indeed in very dangerous territory.

Only one solution to that if that is the case, and unfortuantely that's get rid of the manager who can't work under the conditions set by the owner.

Don't think that is the case and RM will be here for a long time yet, no doubt still moaning about Marwood and the lack of transfer spending.

Marwood is also part of the team that built the squad that gave us our first bit of silverware in years and the title last year.

It's disingenuous to suggest that he is not competent at his job when none of us have a clue what he's like at his job.

Khaldoon does though, shouldn't we start to question his judgement if he is happy with the work Marwood is doing?
You'll not get an answer to that moomba.

very dangerous. also becouse we have some world class players at City who were sold the "world dominance project" . they came to win. they want win the big prizes. they'll hardly be happy and stay here if plans are changed

Are you seriously trying to suggest that hasn't happened?

I'm seriously trying to suggest that they want to continue. they know football more than me and you , they easily see which our weakness are , they want that weakness be eliminated. and mancini well know and feel what his most important players want.

There's no one on here who would have a go at khaldoun or the big man.
So the next easy target is marwood who does what they tell him too.

Heres what I don't get. Transfer windows don't just arrive unannounced. They are set dates and every top club will have identified targets and allocated budgets beforehand. We will have had a list of potential targets surely? Is Mancini not in the loop or something? Or are his targets deemed too expensive and ADUG are not telling him to his face and using Marwood to do the dirty work?

The notion that Mancini is hard done by as a manager is risible. Chelsea won the CL with a far inferior squad to ours last season. The rags have won countless titles with an inferior squad to the one we have now. Sure he wants more players, every manager does. But if he really is leaking these stories (and I really hope he isn't) then he should be ashamed of himself. We can defend our title with no new players. Only someone looking to get their excuses in early would say otherwise.

It takes two to tango, and while we might know what we're prepared to pay for our targets, the club we're trying to buy the player off has no obligation to just fall into line. They're trying to get the best deal for their club, just like we're trying to get the best deal for ours. One thing that has made it difficult for us to do this is that we do have a reputation for paying "what it takes". This reputation will ease in years, and only buy taking a prudent approach to transfers, whether RM likes it or not.

Just as transfer windows don't arrive unannounced, they don't end unannounced. So this time next week we might all have a different perspective on how we are doing our business.

They did. They also finished 25 points behind us in the league, so maybe we're actually Champions League winners? Or maybe, even though Chelsea won the Champions League, a cup competition, Russian Roman realised that his team we're nowhere near to competing in the Premier League, and decided to splurge a load of cash so his team didn't finish 25 points behind the champions again?

How is that post even remotely relevant to the point I'm making ?

In fact, nevermind. Anyone who thinks there's a problem with our transfer strategy or that we're going to struggle to compete if we don't buy players in the next week is either a fool, or as I said, someone just looking to get their excuses in early.
