Booing the Champions League Anthem

I don't really think it helps the lads get pumped up for the game, if they think the fans can't be arsed, then, well... Why not just drown it out with a pro-City song i.e We're Not Really Here, or is our dislike for UEFA stronger than our love for City?

Do you honestly believe that the players give a fuck about UEFA ? 50,000 gate proves that City fans can be arsed,its those bent bastards at the top that we hate.However I do agree that maybe we should just drown their music out with "We`re Not Really Here".
 
There are some City fans who really get on my nerves.

I personally know a hand full of fans who payed hundreds off £'s before finding out they weren't allowed to go to the Moscow game, were they reimbursed? No.

UEFA have fined us, reduced our squad size, set up FFP to stop us becoming one of the best clubs in the world - but yeah, let's just brush that under the rug and cheer on their anthem.

The people complaining about us booing the anthem are probably just upset that it ruined their half and half scarf pre match selfie for their instagram followers.
 
Also, if anyone winging about it having a negative effect on the atmosphere didn't try starting off songs or getting behind the team for the majority of the game then shut it.

Let me explain it for you.

Last season, after the CL draw I bought flights, hotel and a visa for a game in Moscow. You needed to apply for a visa around 3-4 weeks before the game to get it processed in order to attend. After this time, UEFA in their infinite wisdom decided to punish CSKA for their fans racism by closing the ground to any spectators. This meant if you already had a VISA or Flights booked, there was fuck all you could do to get your money back.

As it turned out, the ground wasnt actually closed. Corporate sponsors in their hundreds were allowed in, CSKA fans got in, city fans didnt. So who actually got penalised? I did, to the tune of about £500. The fine levied on CSKA wasnt distributed amongst us fans who had lost out. To date ive emailed UEFA a number of times to ask them to re-imburse me. Do you know how many responses ive had? 0. I even considered legal action, but as they're based in Switzerland, it'd have been a massive ballache.

So, the debacle didnt make me lose my love for City (although I am still pretty disgusted that they've done next to nothing to help) but it showed me what I probably already knew that UEFA are a bunch of bent bastards who dont give a fuck about the fans. I'd dare to say you'd be a bit possed off in my shoes.

Ive tried to complain elsewhere, booing is all im left with now.
