Bernie, Phil and Alvarez completely changed the game tonight all three were superb when called upon.

That Haaland goal was incredible, I think he was made in a lab he's not human!

Without sounding like a Rag, When we go behind now it's like "OK, That's the kick up the arse we needed let's go'. Fully expect us to comeback going behind and and so poorly. This manager and squad no nothing other than winning.

I called it at 3-1 to us as soon as Pep made the subs.

Quite disappointed.

If we started game with Bernardo and Foden we would have won much more easily. Bad decision by the Pep. But anyway it’s good win for us.

Not a great performance for 80 minutes. Credit to Dortmund though because they played with a lot of discipline and made it difficult to create anything. Actually I think them changing their shape and trying to be even more defensive worked against them in the end

I’m not really going to single out any players because pretty much everybody was poor in the first hour of the game. Grealish seems to be getting targeted but he was one of the few actually trying to make things happen but there was very little room to do so. He definitely does need to start delivering and more consistently though but that’s for another topic.

The reality is we’re not going to be on fire every game but we know how to pull out a result and that’s what great teams do even when it’s not their best day.

Haaland is a monster striker.

Never in doubt. Pep got the starting 11 wrong tonight, both Mahrez and Grealish were ineffective and lacked intensity and energy. We need Bernardo's drive and legs in midfield and a long with Foden he made a difference when he came on. Great to see the character and resilience this team has and with the addition of Haaland you can never write us off.

Alvarez won't start against Wolves, so why not start him tonight? He immediately brought more energy and directness than Mahrez - could have balanced out the retention of the left hand side.
