Stelling, Gullit and Hoddle are having a proper circle jerk on Sky, wheeling out the transfer fees and all. Sadly I can't disagree with most of what they're saying. Aguero cost more than Dortmund's starting 11 today and they fully deserved their win and played for the shirt.

Mancini blaming missing players on Sky. *head desk*

Christ, missing players? Half of Dortmund's team were missing, Klopp was sending on academy players at the end.

Mancini's excuse of missing players is laughable. Dortmund rested 5-6 players.
....of which Lewandowski and the cheeky right winger who set up their goal came on.
We were missing Yaya, Silva, Zab, Aguero from our normal starting 11 so let's cut this weakened team crap out. They had a pretty good side out too!

And brought on a kid who looked as though he`d never started using a fucking razor blade yet.

I haven't seen this kind of reaction to a game since we last got beat in midweek before a weekend derby... Liverpool 3-0. Guess what happened...
This!

Some of our support is pathetic. Like...proper pathetic. They wait until something goes wrong then are out on force trying to bring down the manager or certain players.

Our support can be a fucking joke at times.

We were the third best team in the group - easily - and finished fourth. Not a huge problem, just not what could have been if we'd beaten Ajax at home (which was the one disappointment of this years CL campaign).

Can't agree with that. Getting beaten away at Ajax comfortably was a disappointment. We did OK in one game, Real away, and even then the score probably flattered us.

The European campaign has been pathetic. Not saying Mancini out or anything like that, but it cannot be denied that our European campaign this year has been simple embarrassing.
We were poor in Madrid, it could have been about 7-2.

Away games are tough even against low level Prem teams, Ajax away was always going to be tough. If we'd eat them at home we'd be third and in the EL which is where I thought we'd end up. For me that was the one game I thought we should have done better.

That was nothing short of shocking. Mancini has had his last champions league campaign with City. I'm convinced of that. Our owners, whilst reasonable men and not prone to knee jerk reactions surely have had enough of his pitiful efforts in europe. Even towards the end of the game there's still no urgency to get it forward, Oh no keep tapping it sideways or backways. I was waiting for some of our players to run it down into the corner.

I think the reaction on here has been largely a measured one. Tonight's performance was abject on any level you care to think of. Ajax were better than us - stop kidding yourself otherwise. We were outplayed by Dortmund at home, capitulated against Ajax away, conceded ridicuously sloppy goals against RM home and away and Ajax at home. In this light, I think the reaction has been fairly predictable and understadable.

No EL yeahhh..

Shit coeff. points which we heave to carry for next 5 years, main reason behind our hard CL groups next to lady luck. Yeahhh

Horrific CL performance by City, never ever thought at the draw City will finish this group with 3 draws 3 losses.

Mancini cant and shouldnt get away with CL group stage fiasco for the third time. I'm giving him one more chance next year because he surely knows what it takes to beat United in the league with their defence or their lack of defence.

We are losing out on money with not going to second stage and CL money will improve from next year or maybe already from this season we are losing bigger money if we finish CL in december always.

It means less money for transfers.

Bad coefficients mean Pot 2 for years to come or even Pot 3 if other teams behind us start to collect more coeff. points.

Underperforming in CL costing us money in the sohrt term and long term. FFP etc.

I feel so sorry for all our marvellous fans who have travelled all over Europe, spending thousands of £`s in their quest to see City give them something in return.
Can I make a suggestion to the Club, that they refund every City fan who travelled to Germany tonight, after once again being made to look an embarrassment by a team who appeared to want to win this game more than our players.
Come on Sheikh Mansour, give each and every City fan a complete refund.

Don't want a refund just want a performance, not bothered about a win as long as we make a fist of it.
Embarrassed.

Theres more chance of getting a fucking refund Bill. ;)
