Great result. Just watched MOTD and the Doku show.
It is a bit weird and really not like City at all. The period when he brought on Nunes and Phillips to give us a vastly weaker midfield than I am comfortable with, was a slight worry too. Such a drop-off from these guys. Sure, we scored more, but the point stands that Nunes and Phillips are miles away from City levels. Miles away.
Because of Doku’s great performance on Saturday and the great questions it poses for Pep AND the fact it is a fixture we never seem to win no matter how good we are.Why are you asking that question now when we don't play at Anfield for a few months.
Agreed and that seems to be the consensus on here.I'd start with Jackie. He can get in their heads and can shithouse if needs be. Get them wound enough enough for Jezza to come on and finish the cunts off.
It was an outstanding performance and would pose Liverpool’s high press big issues, however Grealish offers control, windup potential. I bet Pep is already thinking about it 4 months in advance! At the moment: Doku
Hope you are right but Kovacic has played in the PL for some time before he came to us. When Gundo came to us he hadn't played in the PL at all. Also Kovacic is in the latter part of his career so this is the time you would expect him to put those easy chances away as an experienced player.Gundo of the past couple of seasons maybe
He wasn't much of a goalscorer when he joined us. His first 4 seasons with us in the league he got 0, 4, 2 & 6.
He's only currently got 1 for Barcelona
It was only really the last 3 seasons with us where he started finding the net more, probably served by the way we play. But he isn't really scoring for Barca now.
So you never know, the more comfortable Kovacic gets with our team, he might get a few goals.
I hope Spurs win, the further they can get in front of the rags and dippers the better.Day late, and it's probably been said a million times already, but we played some spectacular football yesterday. Also, I would imagine we are all Chelsea tomorrow?
A Palmer hatrick tomorrow night would be ideal; for us, and for my FFL team ;-)Day late, and it's probably been said a million times already, but we played some spectacular football yesterday. Also, I would imagine we are all Chelsea tomorrow?
