Bournemouth Vs City Post Match Thread

An entertaining game at last made all the more enjoyable seeing Kevin back in the team and having a major influence in our attacking play.
All 14 played their part today, not least Willy who made a couple of great reaction saves (even though one was offside) - his FIRST EPL clean sheet!
My only moan is Navas' inconsistency. He gets into some great positions and spoils the good work with a piss poor cross but he puts in a shift whenever he's on the pitch. Got 2 assists though.
Thought MP got the team balance correct and no complaints about the subs.
Great goals especially the last one - what a rocket that was.

Yeah, because being wrong on the Internet is more important than winning the league.

Be honest mate...30% is a pretty conservative estimate...& they detest Pellers. Whether they would want him to fail rather than City win a trophy...it's actually pretty close...if they're blues they want the trophy...if they're rags they don't but they say they want him gone...because he is good and they want City disrupted...rags on here are on a no lose situation...they cause havoc spreading negativity...or they praise the players but stay quiet on other matters.

I actually think you might be correct.

And the best bit if it comes true? The joy, the sheer joy, of watching at least 30% of this forum committing suicide.

They'd be very quiet. A bit like this evening after a win.

Very good performance. Can get away with a midfield 2 of both Ferns in a game like this and both played very well. Also helped that the game was put to bed very early on. Shows the difference an early goal or two makes. 3 great goals and another Aguero header. Not a bad day at all.

Great result well played city. Kev is just on another level. The walk to the ground and back did me in but a good day overall. Can't wait for Wednesday now.

Great performance and great results. We scored from a corner.:) And to add on my happiness KDB and Nasri came back!

KDB shared the goal burden of Kun and offered the team the much needed movement. Played really well yesterday. Our attacking stars finally aligned.

Should probably thank the international break as well. Our players came back healthy and refreshed. Kun learned when to take responsibility and when to share the burden with others. And that header goal! I'm still wondering how he managed to won that, let alone steering it to goal. The 2 Ferns won the ball back frequently and moved the ball forward more, in particular Fernandinho. Mangala looked much less nervous and Otamendi curbed some of his rashness. Zaba was the old Zaba and Clichy continued to be solid. Navas was a thorn on the right despite his finall balls. But who cares? Quantity made up for quality yesterday. And how many times have Silva started our attacking moves? Glad his range of passing is back and the assist was just amazing. Even Willy was quite reliable the few times he was called upon, though once or twice he passed straight to the opposition.

Or maybe the thanks should go to Pellers! Perhaps he adjusted his training methods and his tactics seemed sound. Lovely substitutions. Glad to see players rested and Nacho get some minutes. High, organized pressing and attacking movements were back. And by playing KDB in his preferred position, Pellers helped ease him back from injury.

Hopefully Hart and Yaya will be ready for the quarter-finals and the team will further step up their performance. PSG is on a totally different level from Bournemouth after all.

Perhaps we should leave the team as it is? The midfield pressed the ball as a unit.
