Aston Villa want him according to Alan Nixon. With him having a contract I doubt they can get him permanently, but possibly loan. I could see Championship Aston Villa offering him regular football, but not sure about Premier League Aston Villa.

He's not ready for a Prem starting berth, too lightweight imo.

A season in a less pressured environment first - Celtic or a NW Championship club perhaps?

Confidence seems to be the more important issue for him, if he is confident enough to run at people then he'll cause problems whatever level he's at. He'd tear shit up in the Eredivise, so maybe let Camburr have him untill January, then see if he can get a high championship, low premier league loan for the rest of the year? If he really shines in the first half of the season, then he could always try and break into our team in the second half of the year

Well, we should extend his contract first then, otherwise he'll make a rusnak

Doubt a Manchester lad would stay at Cambuur, or Groningen (sp) in that case.

on loan it would be a good move for him. Tim sheer wood is an excellent man manager especially with young players. Id rather he was in the first team squad next year though, but pelle won't give him a chance probably

if we sell him there is no point in the academy. Again how is he to light weight ? a 16 year old played for villa the other week, James hesketh and targett both similar build have played for southampton. We either give him a chance or we will lose him

THe point was not a netherlands club, it was any club, aston villa, cambuur, the club he ,ay join doesn't make difference, the fact he can leave soon for free or for a low fee does.

The arguement about being to lightweight for the prem does my nut in. He's got loads of talent, he will make it in the prem weather he's tiny or built like a tank.

complete agree the 16 year old for villa the other week was tiny and an even smaller body type than barker yet he managed fine
