Thought Barker was brilliant yesterday

That Angelino at number 3 had a great game too

Didn't go myself but the lads near me said barker was the clear motm with ntcham second and Angeleno and ambrose played very well too.
As a few of the lads have gone to Abu dhabi with the first team for the friendly I think it could be an great chance to test them to see if they could do a job vs boro, all should get half a game for me otherwise why take them.

Ambrose was fantastic first half but then completely ran out of steam in the second and was largely anonymous...to be fair though he ran himself ragged in the first 45

That was weird as I tweeted MCFC last night to ask and they said it was Angelino...not being au fait with the youth team I thought it didn't look like Angelino as the number 3 had dark hair and Angelino has blonde hair

Strange that barker gets MotM from some when I thought he had one of his quieter games. I guess he is the current "star" being talked about so much so maybe not so strange.Even in a quieter game he still scored and got a good assist and showed some good glimpses of what he is all about. Excellent player and prospect for certain.

I thought the stand outs were Ambrose and Ntcham. Schalke resorted to just kicking Barker after about 20 minutes so he never really got going.

I agree. Nowhere near his best imo, but still a couple of great moments. Ambrose was much better along with Ntcham.

It's good to see ntcham getting praise as there was a lot said about his potential when signed and was expected to be the next big thing.
