Brian Kidd

I love Kiddo. No one has contributed more to both red and Blue in Greater Manchester.

And he still has the enthusiasm of a teenager every time we score.

I hope he's at City for many years to come, though I somehow think he might retire in a year or two.

This season he has "never been happier" in his time at City. And that's a quote from the horses mouth.

And i'm very confident those words wont be exclusive.

Jeez. I totally forgot he was on the backroom staff. He's carried the clipboard for quite a while.
Given the amount of success we've had you'd think he'd get a head job somewhere. But some
people know what they are made out for. I would assume he's a extra voice to MP when he
needs some info specific to the English game or he has a special role with the players, esp the English ones.
Every foreign manager in the PL I've ever heard of, even Mourinho, has relied on local
staff at some point.

He tried as manager years ago and failed. He was offered our job in the 90s, verbally accepted and then turned it down. Probably wisely. He ended up manager at Blackburn and it didn't go well. I'm pretty sure his career was stalling until he came here. Wasn't he a youth coach under Hughes?

He respects the red side of Manchester. He came to the Mad Hatter in NYC last year and he was remembering his header in the European Cup Final against Benfica.
