There is every chance that could be true. However he appears to have had a slight ( !!) dig at Marwood on a couple of occasions lately.

Sorry I don`t think for one moment that will happen. The Boss or Khaldoon will intervene if it ever got to that stage.IMO anyway.

I hope so!

From what I've heard as well Marwood is too interested in selling our youth players (Suarez and Razak &Co.) Then wanting to see them in the city side. Also apparently we had the chance in signing Victor Moses but instead Marwood offered Alex Nimley a new contract and the boardroom kicked off about it.

I honestly think Marwoods career is in jeopardy here and if he's not rid of before the closing days of the window I honestly can't see Mancini coping in another transfer window with him!

That is absolute garbage. He cannot wait to see, especially Suarez in the first 11 he thinks he is an outstanding talent

I'm only saying what I've been told.

Chelsea isnt in as big trouble with FFP. Selling the stadium name is still open for them.
And their summer spending is not as expensive as it seems like. They are still looking to sign someone like Moses and a rightback like Azpilicueta both around 10m deals.
And then they have a very good and young team with great potential. Also they still thinking about a striker (Cavani) dont think they gonne get one this window but who knows.

Dont think City isnt signing players just because of FFP.
What if Hazard's agent ask for a little bit smaller agent fee? Then we spend great money on Hazard and his wage also.
But yes,we need to make things differently, not to offer joke wages to players and make them paid 3 times more than at their previous clubs.

How much mone we lost on players like Bridge, RSC, Jo, Adebaor, Caicedo etc.
If we add it up Hazard's agent fee would be like 10 cents...
And we are still losing big on players like Kolarov, we cant sell him just on ~ third of the price we bought him.
More like CFC have decided that they will take a fine from UEFA or even miss out on one season in Champions League. If they don't spend then European football would not be an option anyway. They have no chance of meeting the 45m Euros deficit target

Dont say, there is no way some kind of deal cant be made that suits all parties?

i dont believe that, its down to incompetence.

Re: Brian Marwood

Feel sorry for Marwood, as a suit no matter what anybody thinks or has heard he has no outlet to the media to state his side of the story. If he is just following orders from Khaldoon and the Sheik in following the business plan people IMO should get off his back. If he is pursuing his own agenda then he should take the flac. It is easy for Mancini to say not his fault, he knows nothing to the media and blame Marwood for the lack of transfer activity.

Just wish everything had been kept under wraps behind closed doors.

How do you sell something that no-one wants to buy?

Aye I don't like it when we wash our dirty laundry in public, this should have remained outside the public domain and kept private imo.

Re: Brian Marwood

Sheikh Mansour is NOT a "sugar daddy" and has never claimed to be one. He told us when the takeover was confirmed that he envisaged a period of investment in players to enable City to compete for, and win, trophies. No-one can complain that he hasn't fulfilled his promise. He told us that this would be followed by a period of consolidation and we have known for a long time that this summer funds for new arrivals would have to come, in large measure, from the sale of players already here. Most of us know who these players are. We also know it's Brian Marwood's job to move them on. But that doesn't make it any easier. Adebayor seems content to sit in the stands and pick up his wages. Paying a club to take him isn't going to provide City with money to buy someone else! RSC wants to play football, will go somewhere else but clubs are reluctant because of his injury record. Marwood has a difficult job, operates within policy limits laid down by the board/Sheikh Mansour and cannot be held responsible simply because a few City fans think they have a right to expect the moon - and the Sheikh to pay for it. Hazard wanted the same wages as Ya Ya, without ever playing like him! Any club has to think very carefully about the details of a deal for a 29 year old with a checkered innjury record - especially with the four strikers we've got! Let's just trust the club - it hasn't let us down since 2008, has it.
