Please be advised that you are surplus to requirements after becoming the equivelent of a benefit claimer rather than professional footballer. You have never been good enough for this football club and have cost us many goals through your incompetetant defensive 'qualities'.
I strongly advise you, as a player on the wrong side of 30, to retain some dignity and self-respect by requesting to leave this club in favour of first team football. I acknowledge it may be difficult to lift your fat lazy arse from your sofa and actually kick a ball now and again but you should do this as you'll earn more with a signing on fee.
Alternatively we could do a job swap, or perhaps even a wage swap. I would probably do a better job than you despite me being very unfit and becoming easily out of breath over long distances.
Please stop milking my club you parasite. You belong back at Southampton, not Sunderland.
Regards,

There are some who just want to play and, were they to find themselves in Wayne's situation, would take the financial hit in terms of wages in order to find a club at which they could play week in week out.
Then there are others, and Wayne seems to fit this category, that are not overly concerned with how often they play and aren't willing to sacrifice their financial package in order to play elsewhere.
Players are fully within their rights to behave in either of these fashions, they signed a contract with their club, which the club agreed to, for a set length of time. Situations change but contracts are binding and the affected parties need to work within the confines of contract law on these things.
However, just because it is legally right for Wayne to act the way he has doesn't mean I, as a City fan, have to like it. Yes City are partly to blame as we shouldn't have offered a 5 year deal at approx £80k a week to a player with Bridge's level of ability, however Wayne is the one who is being paid extortionately and contributing nothing to the club in return. It speaks to the character of the man that he is willing to collect his £80k each week, do a bit of training with the kids, and then go home and bang his popstar girlfriend ratehr than have a modicum of respect for himself, and the talent many would die to possess, and actually use it before time strips him of it forever.
In short, Bridge may be correct in the way he's behaving, in the eyes of some, but for me he's a money grabbing git who doesn't deserve any respect whatsoever.
Thats the point with Bridge. He is already thinking of his days after footballer and isnt gonna walk out on his unbelievable contract to play midtable football. he will not move for les money than he is already on and is properly putting his omoney aside to enjoy life after footballdctid said:Matty said:Not all footballers are alike.

You are forgetting that Bridge was Ashely Coles back up at Chelski and played essentially only when he was injured or needed a rest. City came along offered him a bucket full of money gave hm the big sell he relocates up North and within 2 years he is told he is surplus to requirements and he should just fook off - personally if it was me on the wrong side of 30 i would not move fookin anywhere unless city offered me a pay off and if most of us were in the same position we would do the same
