Well, as far as I am concerned they can murder these twats in their thousands, whatever their alleged nationality, they are scum and deserve to die. There will always be apologists for these people no matter what atrocities they carry out in the name of their sham of a religion.

Nor do I see how indiscriminately bombing/invading/intervening in countries populated by a bunch of people has helped over the past 200 years but that's been our foreign policy.

What to you think the result of less intervention would be?

If the West aren't going to fight ISIS because doing that has gone badly in the past, the wealthy Arab states aren't going to fight ISIS because they love sitting on their hands and the people of Syria aren't going to fight ISIS because they're busy making their way to Europe then who will fight ISIS? And if nobody is prepared to fight ISIS then what will be the end result?

Them giving up and going home or them becoming an ever more dangerous threat to the wider world?

I think a drone strike taking out ISIS activists whilst harming no civilians is about as perfect an operation as you can imagine.

I do not force people to leave their homes or destroy their property. If having an opinion that differs from you makes me less civilised than the people I refer to or condone the killing of, then please explain to me how you have come to your conclusion.
Its actually people such as yourself who exacerbate the situation because you cry your crocodile tears for the scum that most civilised people detest.
How would you go about sorting this situation out? by espousing morals and legalistic language, bemoan the history of the now defunct empire, and most alarmingly claim I am less civilised than they are...!!!

That makes it sound like more of a unified effort than it really is, everyone that supports the air strikes has different motives for doing so. I'm pretty sure the Turks are only supporting them because they like killing everyone that lives to their south.

Indeed, the problem with the Western intervention with the Middle East is that due to people like me we've been far too nice to the populace.

Much better instead to suggest that we should absolutely murder every single person who we vaguely think might look a bit like a terrorist instead.

That's how this will be fixed you see, with more violence. That couldn't possibly backfire in any way at all that I could think of.
