BT have announced they will have free to air matches of both competitions, so hopefully they will still have at least one match for all to see per round of games

People will not sign up to BT for the CL and 38 PL games a season. Sky have been going 20 years and have a far superior program line up overall and have just over 10 million people. They only had 500,000 people sign up before the free BT Sports with broadband deal. Everyone can hate what they want and on bluemoon its Sky but it also being taken away from the people who just have freeview

The Colonel said:Not arsed, Sky have had things their own way too long, ITV rarely show us and are the worst rag sycophants around imo. Down the pub as usual for the bigger games and there will be some to free air anyway.
Down a cable....via Sky and it's satellites granted...but Virgin have an infrastructure in place to go with whoever the big player will be at the time, if Sky get taken off their perch as the TV big boys they have nothing....BT on the other hand are as big an organisation as Sky, just as wealthy, have their own infrastructure and now have TV Chanel's to boot.....which for me puts Sky in a very precarious position for the futureBoyBlue_1985 said:BT are fucking insane thinking this will get them more customers. Im seriously not going to fork out £15 a month to watch mostly shite until February

big blueballs said:The major problem Sky has is its infrastructure, it doesn't have one, it will not be cost effective to use satellites to broadcast TV eventually and they have nothing else in place, they use BT's lines etc for there broadband, phone lines...the future will be BT and Virgin...And Sky are caught in the middle with know where to go
How do you think Virgin get there cable shows??
