More reserved for potholes than education!Political budget.
There's a little extra money around and Hammond has chosen to blow it on tax cuts and NHS instead of deficit reduction ( the Tory holy grail) which was supposed to be eliminated by 2015 and now has been put back to end of 2030s.
Shit for most everything else and austerity is definitely not over particularly for the less well off.
Could easily be blown apart by Brexit.
Will definitely be blown apart by no deal Brexit.

If you think we run our entire education system on 420m a year ( the amount allocated to potholes) , I think you should enrol in your local school and give it another go.

I know this is extra money not the the whole budget. If you’ve worked in education you’ll know £50,000 extra for say a secondary school is peanuts probably 1 extra NQT and a TA after salary and add ons if that.If you think we run our entire education system on 420m a year ( the amount allocated to potholes) , I think you should enrol in your local school and give it another go.
To put it in context there’ll be thousands of schools last year who had to save 100k on the budget for this year by not replacing teachers or TAs.
