Bullying and the devastating consequences.

I've been watching a corporate psychopath in action at my place. I've watched as he's come in, weighed up who is useful and who isn't, snuggled up to the people with power, and treat anyone of a similar or lesser position badly. I'm in his sights at the moment but I do try and take simple pleasures by winding him up. The stage of reconciliation is long gone, his every action now determines the severity of the filling in he's gonna get a few years from now.

Never had much of an issue as as kid really, even as the smallest in our year at high school I was sporty so had a lot of friends that were the 'popular' who always had my back but I drifted and had friends in all the different groups that formed during high school, the same thing in my working life always got on with everyone until a few years back when a few of the older guys retired and we ended up employing some new lads around my age, they have slowly but surely formed a clique and make shit up about anyone that won't partake in their corrupt shit they get up to (creating overtime, doing fuck all on weekend shifts etc) slowly but surely I feel like an outsider in a team of 15 guys, last night I even feigned an illness to not go on the works Christmas do as I know i'm not liked (basically for doing my job) and just couldn't be arsed with having to be 'nice' to people I wouldn't give the steam off my piss to.

Might be needing the money to make overtime up , Young family’s to feed etc

I might be wrong, and I’m sorry if I am, but aren’t you the guy who said the thing you worried about people knowing was you fucked your mates girl and then lost them both?

I’d have been more worried about this ^^^ story. That is psychotic!

I couldn’t care less. An ugly **** in a Stone Island jumper roared “fuck off you Man City ****” in my face and the next thing I knew was a broken bottle in my hand. At that moment, I could have scarred him for life and not cared.

Read all the pathetic threads about violence at the match yesterday. There weren’t brawls in the library.

Heartbreaking to read that and thinking that that poor lad only saw one way of escaping what he was going through.

Terrible waste of a young life.

Can I suggest you change the first post to provide a link to one of the many newspaper articles about this sad story rather than a tweet from a Tommy Robinson fanboy - an arsehole who is hardly renowned for his tolerance of anyone different to him.

13 year old lad not too far from here took his own this week, same old story. As a dad now, this deeply concerns me, I have some time before the big man is old enough to (hopefully not) be affected, but am hell bent on making sure he isn't bullied or is a bully himself. Sad state of affairs :(

I’m of a similar thing with my 7 year old daughter, last year she came to us saying a bit in the year above threatening to stab her in school!! That has now hopefully been sorted and the lad is seeking help, ive had her doing ju jitsu the last two years as well, I’ve told her anytime she feels threatened come to me and we will sort it she will not be a victim or a bully herself.
