Probably right. If Bayern had won the CL with a core of German players then things might have been different,

I guess a lot of your boys won't make the final 23 like Goretzka and Meyer. No Sven Bender is a strange one. Podolski somehow always makes these squads whether he deserves too or not. I would imagine Mustafi, Howedes, Goretzka, Meyer, and Hahn will be left.

Stories about Bayern's players being unsettled keep popping up. The cup final is now going to be huge. If Pep loses that then I think the board will be forced to let him go. If he wins then I think a number of key players will leave and it will hurt Bayern in the long run.

At the same time Dortmund really need to win this. Giving Reus a trophy will probably give him reason to stay another season. I would imagine he is very disappointed with the signings they appear to be making. Either Watzke is trying to play their need for a no10 or he is going to make the same mistakes they did this year. Klopp has more than enough runners he needs technical players with creativity. I hope the board realise that next season is their last chance to establish themselves as a top 8 team. Weidenfeller was very poor this season and might soon need replacing. If they don't win the league or the Cl then they can say goodbye to Gundogan, Reus and Hummels. They won't replace those three no matter how much money they get and then will be overtaken by Schalke and Wolfsburg.

Who are this Red Bull Leipzig I keep hearing about? Lok Leipzig I know, and Rasenballsport Leipzig, but Red Bull Leipzig? Can't say I know of this team.

Dortmund are in for Immobile. I don't know much about him, but it seems like it won't be a good signing. He is co-owned by Juventus and surely if he had much about him then Juventus would be keen to keep him. It's not like they are blessed with incredible striking talent. Dortmund would be better served buying young and German like Werner.

Guess I just refuse to use the "official" name when it is clear that the whole club is an artificial product with the only purpose to advertise a soft drink.

Not sure how good your German is but in one of the recent 11 Freunde issues was a great article going into all the details of what exactly is wrong with RB Leipzig. Well worth a read....

Disagree, Hes Young and will improve, he's a very good player, and playing with better standard of players at Dortmund will improve him massively.

I don' really follow the Italian League but isn't he the current top striker in Seria A? Doesn't sound that bad on paper....

Seem like Schalke is interested in our Sebastian Jung. :( Would be a great buy for them as he is a great talent as RB....and we will fight relegation again next season. Jung gone, Rode gone, Schwegler gone, Joselu and Barnetta gone as well.

How to dismantle a team in 5 steps. Wonder why somone like Di Mateo should join us as coach now....
