Looks like we found another volunteer to join the fun. ;)

I am up for whatever as long as it involves beer and football at some point in time.

Cricket doesnt sound very appealing I got to admit, but I might be able to live through that as well. When I went to France to tick off Strasbourg from my football ground list I somehow ended up watching some amateur ice hockey down there as well. Cricket cant be much wors than what I had to endure back then!! At least they sold beer cans at the hockey ground. ;)

My thoughts exactly

I prefer bowling,

Is Arsene Wenger willing to pay 32,5 Mio for Julian Draxler?

I still think that Dzeko will return to the Bundesliga this summer, perhaps as part of a De Bruyne deal. How about as a replacement for Draxler?

Doubt it as Draxler and Dzeko are two completely different players. Would surprise me if Wenger would want Draxler. Its not like Arsenals has a lack of midfield/attacking players?

So Draxler is staying at Schalke next season.Good news for us

Dzeko ..oh ok we need to buy a Sheikh first.
When he going back to Bundesliga then Wolfsburg or Doofmund not us.
But never say never :o)

Dzeko's only chance of a Bundesliga return is Wolfsburg. But - the problem are the wages - even for Wolfsburg. Especially as they will pay de Bruyne more.

I saw them twice last season and did a bit of reading up before I went the first time. It has both a football and bobsled division (hence the badge) and I think they were in the top flight for two seasons. They were involved in the most famous end to a Bundesliga season which Ruhr probably won't want to recall. Schalke were playing Unterhaching and when that game finished, Schalke were seemingly champions, and the supporters were on the pitch celebrating. Then Bayern scored from a free kick inside the box (presumably a pass back but not sure) away at Hamburg to snatch it.

They have had a lot of famous names playing for them in the past couple of seasons, like Goetze and Hummels, but unfortunately they were just the less famous siblings.

I've got a few photos from my trip there which you are welcome to use. If you want me to email them to you drop me a PM.

A Schalke fan showed us the clip on Youtube, the last time we visited. It’s a bit like the Aguero moment, but QPR equalizing straight from the kick off.

The real drama was after the final whistle at Schalke when news filtered through that Hamburg had scored in the last minutes. They put it on the big screen, but confusion reigned supreme when a TV presenter asked the Schalke Manager how it felt to be Bundesliga Champions.

Bayern then equalised with virtually the lack of the game from an indirect free kick, harshly awarded from a tackle/back pass) Heartbreak for Schalke because they’ve never won the Bundesliga.

I think Owen Hargreaves might have been playing for Bayern.
