Yes, and the easy way to Europe with a cup final participation seems to be out of the way now, too.

The semi finals are
VFB Stuttgart - SC Freiburg
FC Bayern - VFL Wolfsburg

There is just one leg in that competition. So it might be Stuttgart that could be keen for that way.

More interesting is that Augsburg is no. 4 in the table for the second part of the season and if thy go on like this one of the teams that currently sit on rank 11 to 15 could slip to the relegation battle place. Hoffenheim and Fürth will not get out of 17th or 18th.

And Schalke seems alive again after the troubles... It is important that they catch rank 4 as they are probably the best equipped for the CL.

Bit of advice please lads.

I'm going to Frankfurt from 15th March for the weekend and I've noticed Eintracht are at home on the Sunday.

How easy is it getting tickets and how do I go about it (for three)?

Thanks in anticipation.

The game v Stuttgart ? I'll have a look after work but it may be sold out, Bembel might know.

Have a look on their site :

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.eintracht-frankfurt.de" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">www.eintracht-frankfurt.de</a>

Edit : Click on tickets and there are tickets left for that game but the online ticket service isn't working for some reason.
It's likely to sell out so I'd try and contact them by e-mail or phone asp if I were you.

The game is as good as sold out and the online ticketing shows there are about 330 or so tickets left.

Your best bet to get 3 seats next to each other would be on the Mainstand (pretty expensive with 69 Euro) or East stand upper tier (thats the stand which is shared between Frankfurt and Stuttgart fans, tickets are around 40 Euro).

There is an English description of the ticketing available as well, please see the below step by step guide.

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.eintracht.de/english/tickets/how_to_order_tickets/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.eintracht.de/english/tickets ... r_tickets/</a>

You have the possibility to book the tickets and then print them at home or you can get them mailed to you.

In worst case you can contact Eintracht directly via mail under ticket@eintracht-frankfurt.de (english should be no problem). As Blade mentioned the online booking thingy seems to be a bit dodgy at the moment due to maintenance.

If you manage to get tickets you should be in for a lots of fun as Stuttgart will bring a lot of fans and both sets of fans don´t exactly like each other. ;)

There are always people selling tickets around the arena on matchday, however I highly doubt that you will get 3 seats next to each other that way.

Let me know in case of further questions...

Thanks guys, much appreciated. The sitting together thing isn't vital. We're on to it now. I'll let you know how we get on.

Thanks again.

Edit: three tickets sorted in the East Stand Upper Tier. They're even next to each other.

Thanks again for your help.

@MrMoustache:

Cool, glad you managed to get your hands on some tickets! :)

Depending which block you are located in you might be sitting in the family section. If I remember correctly its the blocks in the 13 number range.

Sorry I didnt mention this earlier today, but I completely forget that the family section is up in the east stand as well.

Nothing wrong about this section, you just might sit with families and their kids.

If you intend to drink some beers before (or after) the match you can go to the O´Reillys just opposite to the main train station. Its an Irish Pub (or at least what us Germans think is a Pub). Or you can get to "Alt Sachsenhausen" which is the party/drinking district.

There are beer tents outside the arena as well where you can get a beer and a Bratwurst.

Once you are inside the arena you can get beer and food as well, however you need to get yourself one of the "JustPay" plastic cards and load them up with money. You can do all this inside the arena, there are those guys with yellow coats all over the place who will provide you with cards and load them up.

Buying stuff is completely cash free as it is supposed to speed up things (I still hate it).

thanks for this information. Planing my first (Eintracht) Frankfurt trip this season and usually boycott this plastic stuff. So drinking outside like at home :-(
