Yesterday evening was a pretty important match for my club Eintracht Frankfurt.

As mentioned already we are playing in the second division now and are fighting for promotion.

Yesterday evening we were playing in Berlin versus Union Berlin. Due to the repeated usage of flares and the like in previous weeks Frankfurt Fans were banned from the match in Berlin

Even though the match was scheduled for a Monday evening in Berlin ( pretty huge distance for a working day), banning of fans and the game beeing broadcasted live on TV about 1000 Frankfurt (several coaches) fans went anyway to Berlin.

Tickets got organised via various "channels" and everybody dressed up as "neutral" as possible to get inside Berlin´s stadium and the majority actually managed to sneak past the security.

After 9 minutes Frankfurt scored a goal and the undercover Frankfurt Fans revealed themself and decided to conquer the so far empty away section (climbing over fences etc.)

As of then business as usual was resumed and our team was supported in full voice!

Berlin fans showed us their solidarity as well and presented a huge "Fuck the DFB" banner and joined the Anti DFB chants of our fans.

Frankfurt Fans showed a banner with parts of a pretty famous Frankfurt chant written on it.

"SGE wir sind da, jedes Spiel ist doch klar.." (translates roughly to "SGE we are there, EVERY match thats for sure..")

As a result of the above and the Dynamo Fans coming to Frankfurt even though they were officially not allowed either, DFB today decided that they will no longer ban away fans as punishment for general misbehaviour.

Solidarity banner of the Berlin fans:

We won the match 4-0 in the end and might hopefully get back to where we belong. :)
That's pretty hard core. Takes some balls to do that.

What is happening with Abu? is he injured. he's not played since he moved in January!

Abu simply didnt make it into the team yet.

We are having a tough fight with 4 other clubs for the promotion into the first division, so Armin Veh is playing the more experienced players which he knows better.

in the video at 1.00 i think you see police coming down the stairs in the background at the empty away end (with white helmets in the hand), but not acting. Also stewards opening the gates. People chanting "football mafia DFB" the usual chant against the Football Associaton

here by the way a nice video with the atmosphere in the home end. That Union-stadium is nearly a non-seater-stadium

How did you not get any trouble from police when climbing over the fence to take the away end?

I think the police and stewards did a good job by not intervening, because otherwise I could imagine that it would have massively kicked off (Frankfurt Fans unfortunately have a pretty bad reputation when it comes to those kind of things).

Everything remained peaceful in the end, no one was hurt, no harm was done and representatives of both clubs were highlighting the great and friendly atmosphere in the post match interviews.

There was not a single chant towards the opposing set of fans, neither from Union or Frankfurt side. It was all about supporting the own team and bashing the DFB...

In the last video Ruhr has linked you can actually see how Frankfurt and Union fans do a "cross field" chant of "Scheiß DFB".

1-6 to Dortmund now, bloody hell.

What a team Klopp has built. They started the season quite badly too, imagine they hadn't. Shinji Kagawa is fookin' ace, proof of what a good scouting system can get you for peanuts. Dortmund are buying another highly rated Japanese player for dirt cheap too.

Yuya Kubo. Japan is a great place to scout for young players.
