Wonder if Kev is ready. Dont think Id start him after only 30 pre season mins. Another sub appearance from him for me.

Our bench looks very weak offensively though doesn’t it!?
Which makes me think we won’t play with our strongest 11 and one of Foden or Alvarez will be pushed to the bench?

We certainly should on paper but that’s probably not the starting 11 and I suspect Foden will be overlooked again

I was surprised when Pep brought him on, I'd nipped to the kitchen to crack another beer, and when I got back I thought they'd brought on Chuck Norris for a guest appearance, considering how overweight he was and the public slaughtering Phillips got last season for the same reason, must make Phillips wonder what he's got to do.

IMO we will play 3 at the back most games this season.
KDB is miles off the pace at the moment and surely wont start?

It’s probably not going to happen, but I’d start Palmer. He’s full of confidence. If he’s good enough then he can start games like this.

Agree to an extent, but IMO he will be an impact player coming off the bench more this season.

Yes. KDB looked very out of condition and I was amazed he was brought on.
Phillips must have been a right porker when he came back from the World Cup.

KDB usually takes several games after an injury to look like his normal self. Given that, I thought he looked surprisingly good on Sunday.

I dare say any fitness issues will be worked on.

Me too. My first impressions were that he actually lost a little weight. He looked good anyways and lovely to see him back pressing their defenders.

I would swap in Bernardo for KDB and play Palmer right wing instead
