Burnley (A) | Post Match Thread

Erm us. Neutrals make the Premier League the most watched football product in the world and generates billions. If the product is not exciting and viewership declines then so will the quality of players we watch.

This is not a tribalism “fuck the rags and scousers what they think” way of thinking, it’s the bigger picture. There’s too much football being played and fans aren’t getting value for money.
Football is number for supporters who attend games.
"Fans" who watch on TV and especially neutral fans don't count

If that is us under-cooked, behind everyone else in preparation, missing key players and still with the opportunity to add quality to the squad, we could be in for a special season. Red shirted tossers everywhere should be shivering in fear.

Perfect outcome - comfortable win and good performance for us, but Burnley and Kompany came out of it looking like they'll have enough to stay up. Glad his first PL game wasn't a humiliation.
