Some of the responses on here about the Rags suggest fear of their revival and I think it's totally founded. I have put £50 on them at a very good price to win the league next season.

Just how does that work as a City fan then ?

You want us to lose so you don't throw your money down the drain or you would be cheering that lot on to win games ?

I just don't see how it is even feasible for a City fan to place a bet on them to win the league even more so as we are challenging every season now.

Quite a few people do this... and there's a bit of a twisted logic to it, you back your opponent, so that if you win, great, you don't mind losing your bet, and if you lose, then at least your bet comes in, offering some semblance of comfort.

I wouldn't say it's a lot, but it's not uncommon.

Quite the opposite its a win win situation. If City win brilliant, If United win it softens the blow, if someone else wins, hes fucked.

i own a garage i get a loan from the bank to buy a new ramp and equipment i make more money does that meen i am buying success yes it does do i get looked apon as i am doing wrong NO people are impressed that i am forward thinking and a clever business man but in football its a no no the thinking behind all this buying success is just jelous bollox.
