Can we afford to let Barry go?

Hart/Pants

Micha/Zab Lescott/Nasty Kompany/Demi Clichy/Kolarov

Navas/Nasri Yaya/Rodwell Fern/Millner Jovetic/Silva

Aguero/Guidetti Dzeko/Negredo

We will be ok. Milner is the answer.

Got a lot of time for him and sorry to see him go. From a footballing perspective I don't think we'll miss him much though.

Early evidence would suggest otherwise.

I'd rather we didn't. He does the shit that we are severly lacking right now (Fernandinho might pick up on this - coz Yaya won't) And he played that forward ball that we have lacked too. Whoever gets him is getting a diamond.

Milner doesn't have the first touch, the passing range, vision or awareness of Barry. Apart from that he's ideal.

I've watched City since 1978. My favourite ever player. I'm actually in tears. As sad as that sounds. Loved watching him play.

Fucking ell Bert he was good but he was no Kiki Musampa!

Haha he wasn't indeed. He was a joy to watch. His first touch, the way he zipped the ball around; his vision and awareness. His ability to bully the opposition. He was always goal side..Loved the guy. Who will do Yaya's work now?

Yaya is being exposed as a proper lazy **** now Barry isn't mopping up after him. Yaya always talks the biggun in interviews but he always looks half arsed on the pitch. Like Berbatov he can change a game in an instant, I just wish he was more active. Will miss Barry like we missed De Jong too.

Personally I am sorry to see him go and removes a key element of experience and know-how in the PL.

Its interesting that the three managers who rated Barry where Benitez, Capello and Mancini. All of whom are narcissist perfectionists with egos the size of a planet. There is probably a moral in there somewhere but I'm buggered if I know what it is.

All the best Gaz Baz

All strict managers who like a midfielder they can rely on week in week out.

I'm sure our two left backs are like me thinking wtf because Yaya and Silva will not be filling that gap on the left side of mid field.
Cheers Gareth and all the best.
