Dzeko has a positive attitude and comes across as clean cut, and 'a nice lad'.
He's dug us out of trouble more than a few times with vital goals.
He's never openly complained (to my knowledge).
I'd like him to be an amazing success with us.
However, no player should be beyond a bit of criticism in certain aspects of their play. Dzeko is no exception.
I do believe confidence is a significant factor for him - so much so that I believe his 'natural' ability is pretty good, but he tends to fluff things more when he's got time to think about it... i.e. When it's a split second touch or header, he's rather good, but when it's a pressure moment and he's got time, he fluffs things.
For all the 'stick' he gets, I believe most City fans WANT him to do well, and the frequent singing of him names substantiates that. The Gareth Barry / Milner detractors don't do that for those guys.
I'd argue that most fans find him more frustrating than anything else. It's not dislike, it's wanting him to relax a bit, and become the same hero that Aguero and Tevez are.
ooooo oooo oooooh Edin Dzeeeeekoooooo
