Captain Sir Tom Moore - memorial attacked (P11)

£32,765,065 raised.
(Just a reminder)

Its likely that over two million vaccines were bought with that money. R.I.P. Captain.

Remarkable life and his family must be very proud of him, despite the obvious sadness.

RIP Sir Tom, thank you for your service to the Country in the prime of your life in the Far East and at the tender age of 99 by inspiring and raising millions. You fought two battles bravely.

RIP Sir Tom Moore, soldier, fund raiser extraordinaire, and pop star. Amazing.

RIP Sir Tom.

He fought in the same campaign as my granddad in Burma. Hell on earth in the early stages, apparently. Almost everyone got malaria at some point, until later in the war when the anti-malaria drugs were developed. Captain Tom got dengue fever which by all accounts is even worse. It's a shame to see that direct link to these events slowly disappearing.
