Made a great impact even at his tender age - top man.........
From first seeing on "The World at War" to reading about the Burma conflict this lengthy campaign was possibly the most brutal. With the maniac Japanese military who didn't fear death to deal with plus horrendous monsoon conditions they ate, slept and fought the war in mud, truly a campaign that doesn't get the acknowledgement it deserves, tips hat to all those who fought there. To be fair, that army was the biggest in the whole war, with over a million men, so it's not a surprise that a lot of people had family who fought in it. It's amazing that it's not a better known part of the war, to be honest.
Who knew?...
Time to give the feet a rest.
