When players busy in glamourously life like fashions shows modeling , hanging around with girls, So how they can put their 100percent in the game, they are like celebrities, as messi said we are not celebrities . We are footballers with simple life style. In a spare time spend time with family rather then socialise like in England.

Today yaya silva were horrible . Use of navas is not logical with 1 player to head his volly, he always looking for player inside the box. He couldn't find anyone. City have spend 60 m on the front side 30 m on the mid side and 0 m on the defence that should be the first periority in this season, total senseless, if you want to achieve something then u need spend intelligently rather then filling players in one side of the team, lescot Garcia clichy hart need replacement, they need to know someone is behind them who can replace them permanently, also yaya as well , he is not very quick as he needs to be ...

I am again asking city to buy di Maria who have pace and skills and competition to silva nasri Milner and navas , I always rate him above silva and nasri coz he is a Real Madrid player playing along side messi and Ronaldo , it's show he is something that's why he is playing along side with great players, he definitely will replace silva and change the dynamo s of the team, second on the back city needs Garay as perminant, he is quick and fit as well also can pass the ball as well, last yaya replacement kongdobgbia or mascherano. Cos mascherano is quick and experience as well. Fernandinho needs time to settle into the team.

Today they should substitute Ageuro with negredo and yaya with nasri and Fernandinho and should nt be substitute. Wrong decision by manager.

Shut up with your nonsence

I can't believe the amount of moaning!!!!

It's one match. One loss. ONE.

You can't win them all. Credit to Cardiff, they played their hearts out.

For us, I think we were too arrogant going in, #1.

#2, I think Yaya had a terrible game for his standards. That doesn't and will not happen often.

#3, missing Kompany and Nastasic hurts

#4, I agree with numerous posters that Pelle should've taken Kun off for Negredo. It was an exellent goal from Edin. I thought it was deflected, but when I watched the spin of the ball on numerous replay angles, it was just an excellent strike bc the spin never changes. Also, a great assist by Silva and header by Negredo. Got my hopes up for no reason, I was hoping we could pull out a draw.

#5..... have some faith. I love that Pelle decided on his strongest team and played it two games in a row, and I love the team itself. If only Nasty and Komp weren't injured today!!!!! Be patient fellas ;)

Re: Typical City.

Nothing I've seen since Sheikh Mansour has come to us has made me feel Typical City has disappeared.

Re: Cardiff Vs City Post Match Discussion Thread

I do have concerns about the Clichy/Navas balance.

Jesus is solving a problem we only sort of had -- right sided width. Our right sided full backs have been bombing forward to at least some amount of success. Navas is running into space Zabaleta and Richards are instinctively bombing into.

On the other side, where Silva is cutting inside, our FBs aren't able to run into that space as well. We may find ourselves pinned into a crowded right side quite a bit this season. In an ideal world, we'd have Navas working the right and our overlapping ball playing fullback would be on the left, or vice versa.

But Gael gets a lot of stick for something he's not great at (crossing) while ignoring that he's generally very good at reading the game and intercepting passes. It's not as glamorous but it's quite a talent, I still rate him as a player.

Very disappointing. Thought we tried hard enough, but simply didn't show enough quality in midfield or up front. Too many sideways passes, not enough incisive play. Tempo was a huge problem again. All in all, far too reminiscent of last season.

On the plus side you'd think Pellegrini has now seen all our weaknesses at first hand.

From the one who said everything would be different and our football would be out of this world...
Sorry Billy but I have not seen anything different in that performance today than what we had last year away from home. How long is it before you start your witch hunt against Pellegrini???

Pellegrini's had two competitive games mate. I'm not in the slightest bit concerned about a freak result in which we conceded two goals from two corners. The point I make about our weaknesses, well lets see how the team evolves in the next few weeks and months.

I'm sure there'll be plenty of people very upset, fuck knows I am. But everyone loses a game they shouldn't sooner or later. Lets see if we learn anything from it before we start yelling and screaming hey ...
Not sure it was a freak result. That looked a lot like City last season. The players content to look good and play their triangles. Chelsea of old, and Man Utd would have gone for their throat

Similar to Clichy then...looks very vulnerable at the moment.

Clichy has pace at least, and can cross. For me, Clichy is a better player

Which Clichy are you watching ?

One in a parallel universe.

He MAY be able to cross but chooses never to. He was in a position to cross numerous times today when it would have advantageous to do so even if it had been a poor cross but had made it into the p,area as we had a couple of players in there.

He is either under instruction never to cross or has no confidence in his ability to do so.

He is awful crosser anyway.

Not one team will be afraid of us away from home after that - not one

Felt quite giddy this morning seeing our shirts back on the rails at El Corte Ingles

Most of them will be staying there if something doesn´t change and these overpaid twats don´t start showing some fookin pride in their performances

On to Saturday then and I for one expect the mother of all reactions

so Southampton away did not happen then last season?

Yes it did. But all of those other games where we went down and came back to gain points (and if I remember right we gained more points from behind than any other team in the PL year on year when Mancini was here) also happened.

Don't worry mate. All the outers said things would be different. I for one saw didly squat different today. Very very dissapointed.

Things WILL be different. Pellegrini isn't Mancini and vice versa. Both are extremely capable managers who have a very good record and a very good chance of bringing City success.

And I say this as someone who is like a Justin Bieber fangirl for Mancini during his Sampdoria and City days; the mistakes of the team as they applied today and within the next couple of months are Mancini's mistakes. You can't just walk onto a training field, flick a switch and have everybody playing how you wish them too. It takes time for Pellegrini to put his mark on the team not only on who he does and doesn't want but also in their style of play. We can't expect the mistakes and reactions of players to certain situations to change overnight, it needs to be coached into them.
