Carlos Tevez sticks to his guns over leaving Manchester City

If a club matches our asking price then let him go if thats what he wants..He still has 3 years left on his contract so he wont come cheap.. can anyone afford him. ??

Not unless a superstar player was involved in the deal

I agree mate..50 mill for starters or he can rot in the reserves. I for one am certainly not letting Tevez (for all his passion, talent) ruin my feel good factor.
Nothing is ever straight forward is it but the club holds all the aces on this one. I would deffo swap for Ronaldo mind

Irrespective of whether this Argie radio interview really took place or not, are we not in danger of ruining our feel good factor by working ourselves up about Tevez too much? We aren't a one man team as we proved in the semi final, and by displaying our angst in such public fashion, we will be letting the media set the anti-City agenda again.
If he does want to go then fuck him. The bidding starts at 50m, and we use the money to buy both Sneijder and Sanchez. We then fuck both Kolarov and Adebayor off as well, swoop for Benzema and Coentrao, and for a net spend of about 25m, we're far better off.
If there aren't any bidders for Tevez and he starts with the 'retirement' bollocks, we sue the fat little cnut for an appropriate portion of the fee we paid for him and keep his registration. Either way, let's not worry about it. If he goes, he goes.

Bang on the money.

Cheers for a couple of fantastic seasons, if youre going do so without kicking up a fuss and handing in transfer requests.

Personally if we sign Alexis Sanchez I think hed suit Dzeko's game much more than Tevez. If we can get a good hard working star off madrid or inter then perfect but I really dont want a Kaka or someone of that ilk.

Well I've just scoured Google news in Argentina and there's dozens of articles about his row with the national manager - Batista - but absolutely nothing about his relationship with City. It's all '..the player of Manchester City....' etc.

However he does seem to have split up with Brenda Aznicar - always the reason I suspected he was missing Buenos Aires, rather than this Floppy nonsense. So maybe that will change things?

Tevez, speaking to Argentine station Radio del Plata, said: "I want to leave Manchester City.

"Football has changed a lot for me and I don't know if I will even make it to the next World Cup.

"And that has nothing to do with whether I'm selected or not.

"I've been treated very well here and I'm grateful.

"I also gave my everything for the club to receive the results it has had. But I need a change of scene."

it allso says this at the end so they are just speculating and covering both angles

After lifting the FA Cup at Wembley following last Saturday's 1-0 victory over Stoke, Tevez said the chance to overhaul former club Manchester United could yet persuade him to stay at City.

I have included a rough translation of the link, courtesy of google translate, for those interested:

"I had a good time with Carlos, he is a wonderful person, but everything has an end. He is a person you love very much, but things come to an end and it is good to respect the social circle, " said Brenda to Paparazzi magazine.

With regard to the supposed house the player would have bought it, and even the father of actress took to deny, Brenda was adamant not to make statements and said that her father had not told her not to be "bitter" .
