Carlos Tevez sticks to his guns over leaving Manchester City

Sounds like an old interview? I remember some time ago that Tevez was talking about whether he would make the next World Cup so that makes me think it's old.

Whatever I think we had better get used to this. The press will turn this into a saga whether real or not. Best to remain detached from it all

Searching once again with Tevez and Radio La Plata he has just not said this anytime recently. There is an interview in 2009 where he admits he is 'looking at ways to leave Manchester Scum'. But lately it's all about Argentina. So as Graham says it's all Sun speculation and now they back-track.

Tevez, speaking to Argentine station Radio del Plata, said: "I want to leave Manchester City.

"Football has changed a lot for me and I don't know if I will even make it to the next World Cup.

"And that has nothing to do with whether I'm selected or not.

"I've been treated very well here and I'm grateful.

"I also gave my everything for the club to receive the results it has had. But I need a change of scene."

it allso says this at the end so they are just speculating and covering both angles

I don't know what to make of this interview. I didn't think Tevez spoke the media that much and it most definitely seems like some old quotes are in there. Maybe I'm sceptical because I don't him to leave.
