Couldn't tell you.

If you can enlighten me with that fact, I'd appreciate it.

Guessing there isn't a bidding war going on anyway.
Well, as we never went back to Arsenal after an initial bid, or spoke to RVP himself, I'd be curious to know how many clubs partook in a bidding war for him.

Although, I'm assuming that would only be a guess as well?

As that's all everyone has right now

Indeed. I'm just pointing out how it's vastly different from the RvP situation as it would seem only one team will pay Tevez what he wants. Personally surprised other teams aren't or don't seem to be interested - talking about the big hitters as well. He would do well at Real or PSG

Not particularly arsed about the fee, but for what its worth, we will be saving around £25m.

What I am arsed about though is that this significantly weakens us in my opinion.

Top class players are few and far between, and hard to get.

Really hope we have something lined up.

No probs mate, according to half of bluemoon Aguero,Dzeko and Guidetti will steer us to unprecedented glory next season.

The club seem to be a lot more professional in their dealings now & i cannot believe that they would allow Tevez to leave without a top notch striker in the bag.
Pay the money for Cavani you fucking cheapskates.

The fee mentioned on virtually all Italian media tonight is €12.5m which equates to something like £11m or thereabouts.

A possible replacement - Jovetic - has picked up a serious hamstring injury tonight for Montenegro.

It this is officially confirmed tomorrow then I would see this as a satisfactory outcome for us.

Jovetic seems to be another RVP with his injuries.

If we get 10 Million pounds plus his wages and loyalty payment it would go half way for paying for Cavani !

Plus he's in Italy out the way, better than him staying in England.

The comparison with Robin van rapist is unfair in my opinion in that Bacon face wanted him at all costs where as we didn't, the rags didn't really get a great deal we can all see that but Slurgie didn't give a shit about the fee or wages because after one season it's not his problem any more.

As for Tevez I think we could get closer to 15 million pounds if we pushed it.

As an aside If Juve do sign Tev where does that leave Madrid, Higuain and their interest in Cavani ?

Italian clubs are like vultures hovering above players in the last year of their contracts. They get players on the cheap from England but prices for their prized assets are sky high.If that news is correct i`d put an extra £5m on the price overnight. Fuck em , its a shark infested pool.

Lost his goalscoring touch and way too selfish in front of goal. We cannot rely on his work rate alone as this will diminish the older he gets.

I just hope we dont sell him until we sign a quality replacement.

Like who? Seems the walls are closing in if the 10,000 rumours per hour on Twitter are anything to go by.

Folks

Can't just look at the transfer fee. He walks for 0 at the end of next season having pocketed another 10m and a 6m bonus.

Take the fee (9m) combined with wages (10m/year) and bonus payment avoidance (6m). If we get someone in on half his salary (5m/year), then it's akin to having received a fee of 20m (25-5)

We didn't pay much more than that for him?

As you can see I'm a glass is half full person

Hm. I like you!

Blue math lady

Is that because I can successfully add up and show my workings in getting to the answer?

Whatever the reason, I'm flattered...but I'm also married and people on here know me and know my wife, so the flirting will just have to stop!?!?!??

PM me later though ;-)

How will this community service thing work out?

Gutted!! Still the best striker at the club, by a country mile, imo.
Appauling piece of business if true.

Particularly as we, now, look like missing out on cavani

Wouldnt have got anywhere near the title in 2012 if it hadn't been for his contributions against Chelsea, Norwich, Wolves & Newcastle, toward the back end of that season.

What next?. Bentner in part exchange!!
Isnt bendtner still Arsenal's?
Sorry everyone.... False alarm... Just checked... Only on loan at Juve...THANK GOD!!

Yup, always show your work ;)

Di Marzio hinting what some of us have suspected - Tevez is a backup option if Juve can't get Higuain. He wrote that Juve are in talks with both camps, the sneaky bastards.

Tevez surely didn't steer us to any glory, two of those did ;)

Cavani. No point in letting him go if we won't get a better replacement. One of our best players last season not worth losing either. I also think he would sign another contract for 2/3 years if we didn't want to keep him.

Does anyone remember Aguero, you know, the guy that won us the league in 2012?

He's lost it, apparently couldn't score in a brothel these days & likes to spend his days falling over rolling in mud.
