Cars you have had…

My old man had a fabia, bought it new in 2014. Poverty spec but it was only £11k I think, or thereabouts. It never missed a beat in 8 years. Great little car.
Had a basic one to start and a better spec-ed one second time around. 1.2 turbo. Does 50mpg and has decent handling and acceleration. Hopefully this one will last me another 8 years or so.

"Hondas are the most reliable car out there"

Fucking bullshit
Joined a new company in 1997 and they gave me a Honda Accord which had done nearly 90 000 and was due for replacement six months later.
Never had a problem with it and when the boss asked what car I wanted as a replacement, an Accord or Vectra SRI, I asked for another Accord
Two days after having the new car the motor for the windscreen wipers failed
120 000 miles and three years later, that was the only issue i had with it
All the other reps who chose the Vectra had huge problems

I drive a Kia Sportage 2lt diesel and it's the best car I've ever had.
It's 7 years old and I've had it for 6 of them and not had any problems with it at all
I currently drive a Kia Optima. It's three years old and has covered 80 000 miles
18 months ago there was a terrible smell of diesel fumes in the cabin, which was diagnosed as a couple of the injectors had melted
This week the same problem has started and no dealer can get the car in for a month

Sorry to hear that mate but I can't complain about mine

good
mk2 escort popular plus great car did over 1000000 miles and so easy to work on ,body just rotted away eventually though
Volvo 340 2 door the kids used to hide when I picked them up from school in this , but as hard as nails ,when I eventually part exed this I got a set of floor mats in return
Had a few cavaliers which were decent and an A class merc
I was lucky to have bought a 911 997 16 Years ago and have never changed this ,so much fun and mechanically sound.(although the engines can be a lemon if you get a bad un)
Probably the best money I have spent on a car for the time kept so far ,fingers crossed

I drive a Nissan Primastar van and an SLK 320. Had a clutch go in the van and it's done 130k, I've had nearly every sensor go in the Merc, ABS, Traction control, crank shaft sensor, roof sensor, Rad fans, rear quarter light, loads of bulbs, central locking and immobilisor, Love the car to bits so I put up with it until something else goes wrong then I threaten her with the Autotrader and she behaves.
