Had a basic one to start and a better spec-ed one second time around. 1.2 turbo. Does 50mpg and has decent handling and acceleration. Hopefully this one will last me another 8 years or so.My old man had a fabia, bought it new in 2014. Poverty spec but it was only £11k I think, or thereabouts. It never missed a beat in 8 years. Great little car.

18 months ago there was a terrible smell of diesel fumes in the cabin, which was diagnosed as a couple of the injectors had melted
This week the same problem has started and no dealer can get the car in for a month
