https://www.tas-cas.org/en/arbitration/code-procedural-rules.htmlDo we have a source for this or is it ITK information?
Because we were guilty on the non-cooperation charge we had to pay a fine. We chose not to co-operate deliberately and knew we would face a fine. It was the right tactic.Yeah I just saw this. Maybe I should learn to not just go with the shocking headline.
In fairness to Jose, he says that he doesnt know what was the correct decision but if you are found not guilty, why should you have to pay anything? £1, or £9m, it doesnt matter. You are innocent, you should not have to pay. A lot of people on here (myself included) said the exact same thing yesterday.
Eloquently and beautifully put in prose that you have to wonder why some of the British Medias self confessed sports journalists can't mange to think along the same lines let alone conduct themselves in a similar manner. But then it wouldnt get the clicks would it...its all they care about. Sports journalism in search of truth or revealing content is dead in this country and has been replaced by nodding dogs and lickspittle Uriah Heaps with no integrity and even less moral compass.
I really think we could have got him on this. Just posing the allegation as a question doesn't get him off the hook. It was a defamatory comment and if we sued Harris he would have to prove it was true (the burden of proof falls to him in a Civil Action). He made the allegation at a public press conference seen by millions of people which would have impacted on the size of damages. However, and this is a bit ironic, I think we are out of time because in the UK you need to launch such a defamation action within 12 months.Any insight into Rob Harris’s comment after the cup final last year when he asked Pep if he had taking illegal payments From the owners?. I really hope the club go after him now and sue him
What’s going on? Had 29 notifications?I was going to PM @brooklandsblue2.0 the odds ;-)
I actually think he's being very fair in that. Albeit from an incredibly uninformed understanding of whats happened.
We were punished for not cooperating with the investigation, not for what we were accused of.
His grasp on English is brilliant, but he still exerts Portuguese culture through his communication (the tone he uses and the dry, slightly abrupt responses).
Didn’t stop people misquoting him.Jose is quite amusing.
He may or may not have deliberately missed the point of what the fine was for but he is right, the fine is a disgrace: it's far too high. UEFA were out of order and City's non-compliance was not unreasonable.
