I've only just listened to this and I have to agree. It's coming from someone who doesn't actually know what the decision was, so he should have kept his mouth shut (unlikely obviously given who he his). He is saying we shouldn't have been fined if we were innocent and should have been banned if guilty (of anything). That is what I was alluding to with my earlier comment.
Mourinho really should understand he is not the best person to comment on this, but I do think he *thought* he was being fairly objective toward City with his comments, as he was trying to say “if they were guilty they should have been banned, but If they were not guilty, then they should not have been charged with the other violation and fined.”
He's basically seems to think CAS fudged it. It is puzzling that he commentated at all as surely they all knew what the questions were going to be? Why weren't they prepared?
