CAS judgement: UEFA ban overturned, City exonerated (report out p603)

That is what I was alluding to with my earlier comment.

Mourinho really should understand he is not the best person to comment on this, but I do think he *thought* he was being fairly objective toward City with his comments, as he was trying to say “if they were guilty they should have been banned, but If they were not guilty, then they should not have been charged with the other violation and fined.”
I've only just listened to this and I have to agree. It's coming from someone who doesn't actually know what the decision was, so he should have kept his mouth shut (unlikely obviously given who he his). He is saying we shouldn't have been fined if we were innocent and should have been banned if guilty (of anything).

He's basically seems to think CAS fudged it. It is puzzling that he commentated at all as surely they all knew what the questions were going to be? Why weren't they prepared?

Oh absolutely he wouldn't have asked anyone else, but it doesn't give a reason to sue him.

I agree but a life ban from the Etihad would be justified IMO.
It absolutely deserved a life ban...

The problem is that we were, are, and will be a singular target for the entire football world for foreseeable future, so we have to be *much better* than every club just to be considered *acceptable* by the standards being applied.

We always have to take the highest road possible, as anything less will lead to a concerted, diabolically magnified attack on the club.

That’s happened every now and then when we have pushed back even slightly on an injustice, and we are now seeing it in full flow after we’ve finally gone on full offensive for a particular grievance.

Whether we now think there is any use in going back to the protectionist mindset based on the global barrage we are now facing for having the temerity to expose a historically corrupt organisation’s unlawful actions we’ll likely soon find out.

But there is a rhyme and reason to the club’s previous perceived madness.

All true, sadly.
Harris works for Associated Press, so it's not even a single title.

Mikell Arteta has surely coming close to being given the sack with a statement like that. His Arsenal paymaster's will certainly not like that sort of statement from one of their own employee's

the Arsenal players won’t give two fucks, nor will most of the objective Arsenal fans, the board and that old pisspot Wenger will be well fucked off...good!

The problem is we are getting wound up by these clowns (me included) I am now taking the Liam Gallagher approach of just smiling and saying pissflaps or exonerated. It’s much less stressful. We did win after all ;)
