CAS judgement: UEFA ban overturned, City exonerated (report out p603)

Ironically it’s the US owned clubs that love FFP the most

just trying to live the American dream lol. Speculate to accumulate and all that
Of course, the additional irony is that American sport leagues, almost entirely owned by “free market zealots and uber-capitalists” (the Green Bay Packers being one of the exceptions), are among the few true near-communist systems in the world.

And the main reason the American owners of United, Liverpool, and Arsenal want versions of them installed is the same reason the owners of the clubs/franchises that combined to create the initial iterations of the American sport leagues wanted them: to lock in dominance and create barriers to entry.

He isn't.

I've just watched the full interview and he's very clear that he isn't having a go at us.

He is having a go at the confusing element of the 9m fine, probably as he doesnt realise that's was for telling UEFA to fuck off.

My rag friend (just like most of them in India) sent me a message sharing Jose's quote "CAS decision is a disgrace". Then he goes on to say "He is the only manager with guts to speak the truth". This is what Jose has cleverly done. It's high time we deflect attention away from us, good or bad. That really doesn't help. Time to uncover the dirt from other clubs and change the narrative for once.

If asked re Klopps comments, response should just be that they should have a close look at the actions of their own sponsor before they comment elsewhere and just google them to find out. ( then ask where the 50 million for the new ground put into their accounts vanished to )

Any insight into Rob Harris’s comment after the cup final last year when he asked Pep if he had taking illegal payments From the owners?. I really hope the club go after him now and sue him

Can anyone think of another team/set of fans who have had to wait for a specific time for something to be released.

The Nerves leading up to it.

then the amazing positive feeling when it was announced. It’s was like a full time whistle- but you never can be sure when the ref will blow.

great day yesterday made even sweeter by Pep today !

That is what I was alluding to with my earlier comment.

Mourinho really should understand he is not the best person to comment on this, but I do think he *thought* he was being fairly objective toward City with his comments, as he was trying to say “if they were guilty they should have been banned, but If they were not guilty, then they should not have been charged with the other violation and fined.”
I didn't hear him say 'other violation'.

If he did say that then I agree fully but his inference was that it was all one offence.
