Casual staff at City - club confirm they will be paid

I've just had my call from a lovely young lady called Tamsin. Thank you City. I've been in self isolation for 10 days now and I am absolutely overwhelmed by the number of people who have contacted me to offer help or check that I am ok. On Mother's Day one of the Eccles Supporters Club people left a bunch of yellow roses on my doorstep. His daughter is collecting items for 'snack boxes' for the staff at Hope Hospital. There are so many acts of kindness going on everywhere it is wonderful in these frightening times.

Keep up the good work City, keep up the good work Blues everywhere. Stay safe, keep calm. :-)












I absolutely hate the idea of being classed as elderly but hey, that's life today! It is only during this time that I have fully accepted that ok I am getting on a bit now!! *rofl*

I might have mentioned it to you before but part the Volunteering I was doing (and why I needed a DBS)!was with ex offenders, helping people find training, jobs, accommodation, furniture and clothing etc. The other one was for my security licence lol. I didn’t get into any mischief but a I met a few characters along the way!

Superb that mate and I bet you met a few characters. Always been impressed and supportive of companies like Timpsons for the role they play with Ex-offenders. Let us know how you get on and I will likewise.

Well done, let's hope all the DBS checks come through faster than normal. I should think that they will put extra people on them.
