He is good but I wouldn't pay 45m for him. Maybe 30m. And unless We sold Mario for 25m (for a 5m net spend) then I can't see it happening.

Cavani looks to me to be a Dzeko with more mobility and aggression.

That sounds excellent but I do worry a little when it comes to his build up play. Not been that impressed by him in that regard.

Considering he'd be a partner for Kun, who isn't that great either re build up play, ideally, esp. for that kind for money, I'd be on the lookout for someone better in that aspect

Cavani is a quality player, he would bring that extra dimension required to our forward line. Technically excellent in the air & on the ground.

We have 2 forwards in Aguero & tevez who play a similar style. Cavani would be a great option for us.

This all boils down to who would wear being on the bench, or who wouldn't. So nothing to do with ability or impact but for me Edin will leave anyway if not an automatic starter.

So if he came in then perhaps Cavani, Sergio, Tevez, Mario would be the most stable combination.

If that wasn't a consideration then I'd sell Mario in order to help fund Cavani no problem. But it has to be.

Would be a nice problem for Bobby to have if Cavani is a real option.

Mario and stable should never be seen in the same sentence.

Oh i don't know, he can be a bit of a donkey sometimes.....

i notice Danny Mills is piping up about this now... says he'd want £100m + Mario for Cavani!!. Idiot!

How would people feel if we sold them Balotelli now with the agreement that Cavani would join us in the summer for say £10 million (about £35 million in total with the Balotelli sale)? It could leave us a bit short in the meantime but I think it would be a decent deal.

Dont they know we need to post a profit next season ... 45m would kill that. would even be tough and go if we sold Mario or Dzeko for £20m to fund that.

In view of our recent transfer dealings in the summer and our refusal to meet the RVP price and not pay agents fee for Hazard is it really plausable that the owners would 45 Million on a single player

It dont make sense to me maybe i m wrong but whole things smell of bollocks
