"Napoli have not yet ruled out a Cavani-Dzeko swap with Manchester City but it seems increasingly unlikely."

A couple of weeks ago we had finalised a deal of £54 million for Falcao according to media - Who knows what the truth is .... If Napoli's first choice replacement is Dzeko we've got a shout but I can't help feeling that we're p*ssing about trying to be tough negotiators and giving other clubs encouragement to come in and sign Cavani - Sure Napoli's ADL is playing a canny game and there may be zero truth in Chelsea interest and it could just be a ploy to screw a few more millions out of City, but if player has agreed terms the more we try to negotiate the fee down the wider the door opens for somebody else to pinch him!!

press press press, yesterday they said this, today they say this, tomorrow they'll say another load of shite, and yet, people read this shit and believe it.

The way that this week has been going I wouldn't surprised if we have signed him at the crack of dawn.

yes i must agree with you on this point, it will happen suddenly imo over 3-4 day period. no businessman will conclude a 63 millions deal (possible).in such a small period of time . yes we've agreed terms for the player, we will sign cavani imo.

-- Fri Jun 07, 2013 1:00 am --

good night one and all.

What if Mourinho gets Cavani...

I've been all tensed up expecting us to sign him as quickly as we've done with Navas and fernandinho but it's looking more unlikely now. If only 'wishes were horses' we would have him now.
I would be so disappointed if Mou got him ahead of us.
What if Mourinho gets Cavani what other options do we have?

The Daily Fail also write stories that are proven completely false, then the story magically disappears off their website altogether. They also have more stories about celebrities than real news, and their "real news" includes UFO sightings on occassion. But most damning of all, they take opinion pieces from Twitcher Jr.

So on that basis, chances are that we've already signed him. :-P
