Mario Gomez is #mcfc target to replace Tevez. Alvaro Negredo, Pablo Osvaldo and Oscar Cardozo are contenders too

Not one of those comes anywhere close to the two we have let go; Tevez and Balotelli.

Balotelli scored one league goal last year. It's safe to say any forward that can stay on the pitch is an upgrade on what he gave us.
Exactly. Best thing we did, getting rid of that ****.

I really rate Cardozo and am surprised he hasn't moved to a bigger league sooner. Yes I know the Portuguese league is weak, but he always seems to score a lot of goals in Europe as well. Only thing against him now is his age really.

How was Balotelli a ****? He is by far the best young player I have ever seen play for City. We would not have won the league nor the cup without his contribution.
Balotelli was crucial for us. Yes him playing for us has probably benefited him more than us in the long term. But the impact and contribution he made should not be u.der estimated.
To call him a **** is pathetic. He has done nothing to deseve such condemnation from City fans.

-- Fri Jun 28, 2013 11:54 am --

How was Balotelli a ****? He is right you know. I really think when he got sent off at Arsenal and we lost that was the turning point in our title winning run.

The **** we should be rid of now is Dzeko. He's the one that instigated that shit in Munich. He's a cancer in the squad.

I'm willing to forgive a lot even Tevez and Dzeko for their reprehensible behavior in Munich. His behavior last season against Liverpool, Tottenham, and Everton though have sealed my opinion. Oh and for the inevitable "It was Mancini's fault! Dzeko wasn't loved enough!" onslaught from the "I want Dzeko to fuck me hard!" brigade, save it. Not interested.

There's a lot of love floating round in this thread...

don't know whether this is old news rehashed but Napoli president saying we are the only one to make a formal approach for cavani but fell short on value. maybe once hes argued his release clause like fernandinho we might be able to get the ball rolling. certainly cant go into the season with just 2 proven strikers.
