I'm guessing at least one would leave to make way for him, but if he goes there, that would be some midfield, especially if they stay fit this year.

They will never stay fit until Wenger leaves. His training methods are prehistoric.

i wont be worried if he signs for arsenal, they need at least two strikers and one of them needs to be top class/world class, they need to some steel and leadership in midfield, a right back and some defensive cover for central defence.

they need a new number two goalkeeper as well now fabianski has gone.

Not about fabregas per se, but of were going to sign him, Fernando and a cb, are we planning on selling anyone imminently? Not going to be in a good position if we need to recoup £15m after the World Cup as clubs know we have to sell to meet FFP

Richards (£7m) and Sinclair (£3m) can probably bring us around £10m combined and Guidetti probably 1-2m.

Just my thoughts for what it is worth but given the ridiculous sums of money being quoted for CBs, and the fact we have Rekik and Boyata could we not simply spend the money on Fernando, Fabregas, Sagna and back up keeper, which would be under the 49m limit and go with the squad until the winter transfer when there are no limitations on spend. Aug to December, most players are fit not that many games until October, give time for Benatia to cause a bit of discontent in Roma's camp and pick him up in Janauary before we get to the heavy schedule of fixtures. :-)

Seems like the players that need selling are Garcia , Sinclair shouldn't be too much of a problem, Richards and Guidetti if the price is right, surely to god that lot can be moved on before or after world cup for 15m.

my thoughts, ffp wont see us get a central defender and fabregas.

unless milner is going and we add on to his fee the micah, guidetti and possibly rodwell sales.

Plenty of others who we will likely receive bids for - Kolarov, Garcia, Rodwell, Negredo, Navas, Dzeko, Milner. If we need to then I'm sure we can get the outgoings balanced.

Garcia is around £10m I would say, was excellent during title run in.
