No idea how he would fit into our side tbh

I cant see us playing with one up front considering how many strikers we have and if we did I would rather see silva playing behind the striker than Fabregas.

This all comes down to having a squad of players not a team of players, we know from about October onwards if the club are in all four competitions we are playing twice a week. If we constantly play our best team they will be worn out by Christmas.

I don't know but sure you can have two strikers and Sat 1 you play Silva + Nasri, Wednesday you play Nasri Fabregas and Sat 2 you play Fabregas and Silva.

Get him in! 30 million is a steal for a world class, EPL proven CM. He is near his peak, has played in 4-4-2, 4-5-1 and 4-3-3 formations as well being able to cover as striker or winger. When you compare it to the money being quoted for Mangala its a no brainer. He could replace Yaya if he wants to leave or get us the option to rest him if he is knackered. Plus he counts as home grown. I know it would be a large chunk of our 49 mil but Sagna and Westwood for free and Garay for 15mil we are sorted.

Would be fantastic, but I really can't see us approaching him if Yaya is a part of our future plans considering Fernando seems to be all but done already.

I think we will sign him subject to the sale of either Agüero or Touré.

Would be superb. The thing with Fàbregas is he is capable of scoring 15 goals a season so we could play him right behind anyone of ours. If Agüero left we could still have loads off strength.

I cannot think of a better HG player than Fabregas, perfect for our stye as well and available at a surprisingly reasonable price. I'd be all over it. Get him signed and then see what Yaya wants to do, not the other way around

If the release is 30mil then it can't go any higher, he can choose any club that meets the release figure. The club need to make a decision as somebody will need to be sold to buy him,with our ffp restriction of £49 mil, if we are going to spend around £40MIL on Fernando and a CB.
