I think this is Barca leaking all kinds of shit in order to the Fabregas hype/trend rolling big time...

in order to sell at the highest price... all info right now is garbage
That crossed my mind too

But do they have to do stuff like that? The price goes up if there's genuine interest from clubs and rival offers on the table. Red-top headlines and trending on Twitter doesn't move transfer fees surely? It might get us excited, but can it move a transfer fee? I doubt it

I have no idea how he has any followers at all

Complete KFA

He's a muppet. The sport story says that Darren Dein met with Arsenal and with City yesterday and that City's proposal was the one they can't turn down.
He truly is if that's the case.

Re: Cesc Fabregas

There is a light said:
If we don't go in for Fabregas and Yaya returns from Brazil to say he wants out, that's one very big potential replacement missed.

So, does this force our hand on what to do with Yaya, if we don't already know how that situation will end up?

no just like tevez if we want to sell yaya we'll sell him on our terms not his.

Re: Cesc Fabregas

Just a few thoughts. Nothing in them.

If the rumours are true, perhaps we've done a swap deal for Yaya?

Or we've bought him and given Barca first refusal on Sergio, with his blessing, at a future date?

Or it could be another classic City smoke screen to panic Arsenal and Wenger into buying him?

Or there could be absolutely nothing in it at all?

Re: Cesc Fabregas

All those Spanish reports are quoting am14.net, which is a collaboration website of Barcelona fans from Twitter.

That's how stories spread... ESPN reports a story from a fan page, then the Daily Mail will post it, saying it comes from ESPN. Then Gazzetta posts it saying it's from the Daily Mail. :-)

Re: Cesc Fabregas

The Telegraph and the Daily Mail both state Arsenal will not be going after Fabregas.

The Mail say Liverpool and Chelsea plot a move but in all honesty does anybody see Fabregas being a Mourinho type player? Can Liverpool afford him after going pretty heavy on Lallana and Moreno?

Re: Cesc Fabregas

There is absolutely NO chance that we would be willing to pay more than 40M Euros for Fabregas ... so bollocks to ESPN claim.

Have heard the same as @Ian_Ladyman_DM and that is: forget Man City and Cesc Fabregas, they're not in for him.

Re: Cesc Fabregas

Still not sure he,l leave barca.the only club who might go in for him will be the rags, doesn't look like anyone wants to make a bid for him.when a player like this becomes available for the money quoted I'd like to think we would be in for him.we can't buy everyone but we can't let the rags get him IMO

Makes me laugh, shit like this. We may well not be in for him however we certainly aren't going to confirm it to a pair of no-mark hacks until we are ready to do so.
