Champions League ban?

Can anyone quote a court case in the western world where stolen documents have been accepted as evidence? I don't know the answer but I suspect not?

There's not much in the papers other than that a UEFA investigation unit has been reviewing the case again, and after Der Spiegel we knew they would be forced to do this by the actions of La Liga and our legion of enemies. If it was a technical case, I don't think UEFA and the cartel would have a leg to stand on as Etihad have already said that they are fully liable for their sponsorship deal and can no doubt prove this but rights and wrongs don't come into this. I don't think the rights and wrongs matter any more. City have been labelled as cheats and it's politically expedient to take down Arab money so I think they will do it. It will tick a lot of boxes for UEFA cleaning their image up by being seen to take on the ogre. It would be a populist move.

It would also be a very stupid, and short sighted move by our opponents. City's team-building was complete. Guardiola had what 2-3 seasons left. The 'oil-tap' had been turned off because we were sustainable and no longer needed outside support but if the footballing authorities fold then they just bring City's owners back to the table, and instead on starting as a lower-ranked club with little or no revenue, we'l start as Premier League Champions and one of the leading clubs in world football. City will just accelerate the infrastructure plans they had for the Etihad and City's owners rather than going like SPurs to the capital markets to finance it, will fund it themselves.

If they want to play the nuclear card, what do you think Sheikh Mansour will do? He's not going to take his name being blackened and City labelled forever as cheats. He'll just be forced to play the long game something that is very much in City fans interests. We'll have to take whatever sanction they throw at us, but it will guarantee City's place at the forefront of English football for another decade. So do your worst. City fans win out either way.

Politics, a dirty business. Spin it whichever way you want, anyone upsetting the applecart/status quo/establishment will be investigated, stitched up and served up for the media to use as copy and clickbait.
Brexit, Trump, Islamaphobia. Global warming , - City are just another fucking topic in this fucked up world

It's taken from transfermarkt, I'm sure of that.
EIther what you suggest, or they've recorded the original fee in euros, and have taken a current £ value of that euro fee (rather than the £ fee at the time).
Maybe. But tbf, they know full well what the fees were and the exchange rate in Dec 2018 doesn't affect a transfer in July 2015.

John Cross in the Mirror is a great example of how to report (he isn't). The first line is this:
"Manchester City will face a Champions League ban if UEFA find them guilty of strict spending rules."

Doesn't make sense, does it?

Ceferin's concrete case: If you put 'concrete case' into Google Translate into Slovenian (Ceferin's nationality) and back to English, it comes out as 'concrete example'. That to me reads as though his 'concrete case' actually means something like 'specific example'.

Well, yes, but that wouldn't allow gross exaggeration. I suspect it's quick info grabbing, possibly by an intern, without thought or knowledge.
