Can anyone quote a court case in the western world where stolen documents have been accepted as evidence? I don't know the answer but I suspect not?

Does it matter though? UEFA can sanction City because we are Arab money and the football world thinks we've cheated. What their stolen emails purport to show is a club trying to organise self-sponsorship which is entirely legitimate but I no longer think this kind of thing matters. This is politics and the truth at the bottom does not matter.

In my opinion City fans are about to find out what it is like to be a 2nd class citizen in Europe. You are all Arabs now. This as I say will guarantee a response and it just means that instead of City operating on our £500m revenues alongside Spurs, Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, and Man Utd (if they ever get their act together) we'll go again with another round of City investment so bring it on. An arms race will follow. And no one else can compete. They could have done. City were self-sustaining and the spending was over. All they had to do was hang on 2-3 seasons until Guardiola reached the end of his contract, now they will force Sheikh Mansour into the long haul and back to the table. They probably want this to. I would relish the opportunity. The hard work has already been done. All these idiots will do is force Sheikh Mansour to work again.

In these times of social media, celebrity and fake news lets take a step back to consider what City have done wrong...in the eyes of the law that is not UEFAs ever changing rules.

Now let’s look at what UEFA and its cartel of clubs have done:

G14 insisted that half UEFAs executive committee come from their G14 so they are policing themselves and have decided to give themselves more prize money based on historical success. Cartel illegal.

FFP might be illegal. The only reason the first challenge failed was that the ruling said a lower court could deal with it. Their comments implied a good chance a local court would rule against FFP.

Homegrown Rule. Currently being challenged as illegal under EU law.

City settled this years ago but stated that they do not agree they have done anything wrong. Etihad do not answer to UEFA or have to tell them where their income comes from. Since then owner investment is allowed for some clubs like AC Milan. Changing the rules to suit one club and penalise another...what does that sound like to you?

This is just the tip of the iceberg. So imagine you are UEFA and want to throw City out of the CL for investment. Some clubs are egging you on and using the press to put pressure on. Meanwhile the club that has invested and previously threatened to take UEFA to court for all the above and more says nothing and waits...

Seriously? It’s not City’s fault UEFA have backed themselves into a corner.

Thinking again about this it has almost an air of inevitability about it. The vitriol against us has been incessant for years and come from all angles. This slowly starts to turn the tide of opinion against us. It is a constant drip feed of negativity that brainwashes the masses and has been very successful.

Advertising people use the same ploy to get their brands to the top and become the best sellers. Once the softening up process has been achieved and the target vilified in the majorities minds, nobody cares less what happens to them. "Oh those awful cheats, oil money, always knew they were dodgy, deserve everything they get, throw the book at them!" That is when they go in for the kill as now.

The latest quote, Ceferin said: 'We are assessing the situation. We have an independent body working on it. Very soon we will have the answers on what will happen in this concrete case.'

So he is as good as saying we are guilty. I hope we have a top legal team standing by.
