Champions League ban?

The only thing that really annoys me about this is regardless of the outcome, its going to stick for years to come. No one will care if we get punished or not, its just a stick to beat us with in the media and on the street for any 2 bit no knowledge fan.
I was saying the same to my mate last night

Thinking again about this it has almost an air of inevitability about it. The vitriol against us has been incessant for years and come from all angles. This slowly starts to turn the tide of opinion against us. It is a constant drip feed of negativity that brainwashes the masses and has been very successful.

Advertising people use the same ploy to get their brands to the top and become the best sellers. Once the softening up process has been achieved and the target vilified in the majorities minds, nobody cares less what happens to them. "Oh those awful cheats, oil money, always knew they were dodgy, deserve everything they get, throw the book at them!" That is when they go in for the kill as now.

Yes it’s a great anti City PR job and clearly orchestrated and if UEFA act on it and City do nothing then it’s worked. What are the chances and are UEFA ready to risk it? Let’s have a look at the G14s emails to each other you know...just to make sure they aren’t behaving like a cartel or anything.

Think you’ve hit the nail there. Can’t see him allowing that to happen. Fuck with us at your peril!
Yes. City's spending was done. We had achieved what we had set out to do. But the bottom line was that post-Guardiola we were a 54k stadium still dwarfed by the Bernabeu and Nou Camp and without a Champions League trophy to our name. Arsenal looked poised to inherit and maybe Liverpool and we'd be stuck trying to hold them off and one day we'd fall. If they want to take City on, then know that City will go again and it will put us beyond reach for good. Last season City had 120,000 unique home supporters at the Etihad. But in truth there is a good deal of complacency and a lot of that support would melt away with the transitory success. But if you punch City below the belt, expect a response.

Liverpool and Man Utd fans have been praying for this but it will be a pyrrhic victory.

Press that button marked UEFA sanction if you want. All you will do is force Sheikh Mansour to play the long game. He was ready to leave us to it. If you blacken his club and by extension his name, he will be forced to whiten it. Do it.

Apologies, not read all the thread, but couldn't this be because UEFA already now what we did and signed off on it, but the old cartel are now leaking the info putting pressure on UEFA to act, causing us to take it further and this disband Ffp. Which in turn will allow those clubs to obtain new investment/ownership without looking at the bad guys and making us look like cnuts?

I know, tinfoil hat time

I am watching the best football I have ever seen but if it was choice between York City away and kowtowing to these bent bastards I will do York without a problem.
If it is just a paper exercise before they, UeFA, come out and say there will be no action then they had better hurry up becasue I am getting sick of the whole thing, they can fuck off. I will still be a Blue.

Everyone's been doing it for years, it's only now become relevant because City are on the map

The media and other supporters can say what they like as far as i'm concerned, after all the shit that was thrown at us while we were in Div 2 this is a walk in the park, some of our support needs to grow some balls and stick their fingers up to everyone that tries to knock us off our perch and smile :-)

So he is as good as saying we are guilty. I hope we have a top legal team standing by.
The Ceferin comment if quoted correctly are hilarious.
What he is saying is we have a independent body working on the answers of what is a pre-determined outcome.
At least it will put a end to those who suggested we stop booing the anthem as it was time to move on.

We know from the leaks that the Club were prepared to go to law and a compromise was reached. There is absolutely no way that the Club would take this without a legal challenge and UEFA know that. The information was also attained illlegaly and was privileged, only intended for the recipient, therefore I doubt very much it could be used against City; again this would be challenged in law. To ban the best team in Europe from the competition would also devalue it, something that UEFA will not do. I would also add that the deal was done and there is no going back. UEFA are just appealing to the masses. Relax people
I think they will sanction City again, or will attempt to do so. The technicalities of the rules are neither here nor there. They changed their rules last time and no one reported it. The entire Spiegel case resulted from City scrambling to respond to UEFA changing the rules but no one reported it like that.

City are about to get punched in the stomach. See the blow coming, brace yourself but know for sure we will respond.
