Champions League ban?

It’s all a vicious rumour to get us booing the CL again and put our players off, they know we have a great chance of winning this season.
 
Personally i couldn't care less if we were banned from the CL but the players certainly would and that then becomes a big problem for us.

Its about time City & Psg challenged this farcical ffp.
How can you be fined or banned for being a debt free club. Doesnt make any sense.
 
I’m no legal expert but investigations into illegal practices can’t be done on the back of illegally obtained documents.

Hack emails are not evidence of anything.

As Etihad et al have said they did honour the sponsorships, they would have to go to war with a highly powerful football club, a huge multinational airline & a government with endless resources.

This is all to investigate what they’ve already investigated and found clear.

Do we actually HAVE a PR Dept? The person sitting next to Pep when he was asked about ref Anthony Taylor was no help whatsoever. They have ZERO authority & are largely ignored by the press

I don't share your faith in justice and the power of evidence. Etihad can swear until they are blue in the face that they are fully liable for their sponsorship, it does not matter. City are stinking rich, they are not Utd nor Liverpool and they are owned by an Arab Sheikh and reviled across Europe. They will do what they want, and if City have to take our chances in a legal court case so be it, at least UEFA will have shown the rest of football that they are serious about cleaning up the game. That's how I think they will play it. But of course Sheikh Mansour will not accept this. He'll respond on a number of levels. FFP will be taken out, but it will take time, and at the same time City will receive a new wave of investment and as Champions no one will resist it.

We tried to play by the rules. We were as Der Spiegel admitted a profitable and self-sustaining club. The problems were in the past. If they want to re-open them, then prepare for Round 2, and this time Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and the cartel will fall.

Our enemies must think Sheikh Mansour will walk away. They thought City fans would walk away when City were relegated to the 3rd tier of English football. I can more or less guarantee that this will just mark a second round of rebuilding and we'll see where that leaves us.
