Champions League Draw (Cont...)

See it like this - one of Real, Dortmund or Manchester City will loose. Maybe two, if Ajax is a surprise.

For me as a Bayern fan I sit back and wait.

Schalke has Dortmund's group from last year (only difference is Montpellier instead of Marseille) and will show them how you compete in Europe.

Dortmund's players will be with their heads on the next Wednesdays and Tuesday when playing the Bundesliga - even if they do not want it. That was their main advantage last year - 2 days training more each week for tactical issues, less journeys, no focus on other stuff... And they will not be able to go with the same energy in all of the tournaments that they need for their style of play. They will fight for Ronaldo's shirt two week in advance...

Di Mario will show Schmelzer all about di Maria, even if Großkreutz plays in front of him they will have difficulties - the other side will see that a Ronaldo is a Ronaldo - Agüero and Balotelli will show Hummels and Subotic the themes of Italy and Argentina... Some of the players of Real - and maybe of ManCity - might not be much better - but smarter on other ways. Not always in the good sense - but who cares.

If they will master to get first or second - I do not mind - I then only laugh about ManCity or Real or both. And the Bundesliga Championship will go easier with them going into more rounds.

If they get third - then the Europa League will cost their attention.

And if they get fourth - sorry, then there is really much to laugh about...

That group D is so fun to watch like this.

For me it is more fun to see Dortmund or Real fail - so this time I really wish you much luck...
Oh, Seppl is still pissed. Nice to see.

as both teams will have more watchers than Schalke has.

just for you the statistics of sky germany.

Dortmund in their champions season still way behind schalke

But that is what ZDF probably thinks.

And maybe Dortmund has more of the successfans that are not willing to pay money for watching...

lol, it was obvious, that Dortmund will get the toughest group, so ZDF was clever enough to demand a split between them and Bayern

will Dortmund sell out away allocations?
Dortmund probably got the most active (and peaceful) away scene in Europe.
Two vids from last season's european away matches:

So don't be too scared, when Manchester is black and yellow on matchday ;)

No I just know you don't like expensive tickets, which ours will probably be sadly :((though not as bad as Arsenal hopefully!)

I want you guys to sell out, love it when away fans sell out and create big atmosphere.

Well, noone likes expensive tickets, but when you take all costs getting to Manchester, the ticket price will be a minor part.
As someone with no season ticket you will usually pay about 45€ for a seating ticket in Dortmund, too. It's a kind of a urban legend, that tickets in Germany are cheap. This goes only for season tickets, especially for the standing terraces.

See it like this. Dortmund's fans seldom get the chance to leave Germany... The three times each year - and not every year - are really times for celebration... ;)

can't even beat the 6th best English team on your own patch when it matters.

" City are now a force in Europe, a point confirmed by Real director Emilio Butragueño.

“City are a very strong team after an enormous investment in recent years and they will be a rival of the highest level,’’ said the Real legend."

Never in my wildest dreams did i ever even contemplate such people discussing us as rivals in the CL.

Nice and refreshing also compared to Milan and Bayern (cue someone saying about RM top dogs knocking us) talking how they did.

The dream group imo, bring it on.

We had a taster last season with Ribery's reaction. We have got to show signs of improvement, even if though our group is very tough.
