Perfect group - Psv - Lyon - gent
Olympiakas might play in a shite league but they are quite savvy in the competition so would prefer to avoidI'd rather Olympiakos than most of the other teams in Pot 3.
To be fair, we've said that every year. Not arsed who we get TBH.......we will be seriously feared this year....WE will be the ones every other fucker wants to avoid..BRING IT ON.
+1 but never going to happen. Elite protect themselves hence FFP, though a couple of years of Barca & Madrid having to sit in pot 2 might force another changeOn the face of it the new seedings are a step in the right direction but for the champions of the leagues with more teams it's not great. The champions of England will have a limited choice from pot 2. There's a high chance they'll get a spanish team from pot 2 and vice versa the spanish champions have a far greater chance of facing one of the English teams.
I don't understand why they don't just get rid of seedings completely, the very definition of it means it favours the established elite. The champions league would be infinitely more enjoyable if it were a completely open draw. If it means a group of death and some of the bigger teams going out then so be it.
