Champions League Final | Ticket Criteria | SOLD OUT

I genuinely believe that every seasoncard holder will get a chance to buy. Bluemoon is too much of a City microcosm, to actually paint the true picture of the financial and logistical nightmare this game in Istanbul has become.

Let's consider a family of four on the CL Scheme. Ticket cost probably circa £1k, Travel Cost probably £2K, Accommodation around £300, Food, Drinks, Airport Parking etc... They are probably looking at £4k minimum and it's actually term/exam time!

So common sense would believe that it is fair to say, that for every 4 young adults that may be in the CL scheme and apply, it only takes 1 fanily of 4 to say no chance and that a 50% take up rate. Now let's consider older folk who may be restricted by their health, their limited IT/Digital Ticket savvy, their passport validity, their pets or that they might provide childcare for grandchildren, or even their insecurity of such an adventure!

I'd be confident to predict that for every CL scheme member who does apply, there will be at least another (if not more) who don't.

Even single travellers (who you'd naturally expect to take up the challenge of going) are looking at around £1000-£1500 for the trip, (depending which ticket they get), and sadly for many that will be just too much!
I agree, I am going on my own. Expect to spend a grand.

I will have to buy in second hand market (viagogo). Thinking to buy when City release their tickets so I can get one in City section, and theoretically more tickets on the market means cheaper prices.

Does anyone have any tips on how to approach this?

By the same token, there are people saying that the allocation won't even sell out. Don't get downhearted, but don't get your hopes up either. We will just have to wait and see what will happen. Nobody knows what is going on and I once again urge people not to be influenced by what is being said on this thread, particularly if it informs a decision about whether or not to book flights.

Not sure why there is a deadline to get an access code?? seems abit restrictedunless it just gives city / uefa heads up about how many are intending on going???

At the end of the day, nobody knows about ticket availability and can only guess.

My instinct is that many who aren’t going but have high priority will buy for friends. I’ve had to pull in favours to get them before. You’re helping a mate.

FINAL, MAN CITY VS INTER: TICKET AND TRAVEL INFO

TICKETS

Season ticket holders and Inter Club Members can submit a request from 17:00 CEST on Monday 22 May until 08:00 CEST on Wednesday 24th

MILANO - One final, huge objective. Another night of dreams, support and passion for this Club.
It’s been a season, in which the Nerazzurri fans have broken all sorts of records. They’ve supported their team home and away, with boundless passion and love. Now, we have one final step to take together: the UEFA Champions League final against Manchester City. Kick-off on Saturday 10 June is at 21:00 CEST (22:00 local time) at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul.
The Club is once against approaching a massive event where the demand for tickets greatly exceeds availability. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate every fan but, once again, we will try as much as possible to create a set of criteria that rewards the Club’s most loyal supporters.
In any case, it’s important to be aware that tickets for the final can only be purchased directly from the UEFA website, on which fans will need to enter a unique access code that allows them to make the purchase. This code will be sent to you by the Club via email. Season ticket holders and Inter Club Members may request a code, instructions are as follows.
From 17:00 CEST on Monday 22 May until 08:00 CEST on Wednesday 24 May, fans can access the inter.it website and visit the dedicated page for Champions League final ticket requests. Those allowed to make a request are:
  • Around 37,000 ‘private’ season ticket holders for the 22/23 season, who will need to use the SiamoNoi card number on which the season ticket is loaded.
  • Around 50,000 Inter Club members, who have been registered for the last three seasons (from 20/21 to 22/23), who will need to need their Inter Club membership number from the 22/23 season.
CLICK HERE TO REQUEST YOUR CODE
When making the request, you maybe select whether your interest is just in a match ticket or a package including a charter flight and transfers between the stadium and airport, availability of the latter is limited.
There is no advantage in applying for a code in advance of the deadline: you have until 08:00 CEST on Wednesday 24 May 2023.
It is likely that the requests, although “limited” to the aforementioned groups, will exceed the allocation of tickets. In this case, among the solutions that the Club will try to adopt, precedence will be given to those who have been season ticket holders or Inter Club members for many years, in an effort to reward loyalty. For example, those who have had a season ticket for eight seasons will have priority over somebody who has had a season ticket for two seasons. Simply being able to request a code does not automatically guarantee that you will be able to purchase a ticket, nor is there an obligation for the Club to get you a ticket.
In order to welcome our differently-abled fans, all of the necessary information will be published on the usual dedicated page of the inter.it website.
Purchasing tickets via unauthorised channels (e.g. unofficial websites, online resales, unauthorised vendors, etc) contains a strong risk of not being able to get into the stadium and therefore losing the money paid. The Club would like to recommend that fans do not purchase on any second markets and to follow the official advice given by the Club itself.

Can't find it but someone shared the breakdown of last year's tickets and am sure only about 1/3rd of tickets were Cat 1 and 2

One of the reasons I'm still watching and waiting and haven't yet booked a flight. I'm not paying for a Cat 3 ticket or higher. There's a line to be drawn somewhere for me.

Absolutely right they have the deadline. Allow City to understand how many seasoncard holders may want a ticket and then they can get the access codes issued and assess the sales criteria. Makes a lot of sense to do it this way. Particularly with City not handling the ticket sales directly on our own website and them instead being purchased via the UEFA website.

Going off that, I’d say we won’t see tickets to go on sale to at least Thursday. I’m basing that on UEFA releasing tickets for both clubs at the same time.
